रामपुर में दो दिवसीय बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस शुरू, 45 स्कूलों के 365 बाल वैज्ञानिक ले रहे भाग

रामपुर में दो दिवसीय उपमंडल स्तरीय हिमाचल प्रदेश बाल विज्ञान कांग्रेस-2026 का शुक्रवार को शुभारंभ हुआ। पीएम श्री राजकीय उत्कृष्ट वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला रामपुर में आयोजित इस विज्ञान उत्सव में रामपुर, सराहन और ननखड़ी शिक्षा खंडों के 45 स्कूलों से करीब 365 छात्र-छात्राएं भाग ले रहे हैं। विद्यार्थियों के साथ करीब 62 शिक्षक भी प्रतियोगिता में शामिल हुए हैं। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मझोली टिप्पर स्कूल की प्रधानाचार्य जयंती धीमान ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि किया। कृषि विभाग रामपुर के एचओडी डॉ. प्रवीण मेहता विशेष अतिथि के रूप में मौजूद रहे। मुख्यातिथि ने विद्यार्थियों को प्रतियोगिता के लिए शुभकामनाएं देते हुए नशे जैसी बुराइयों से दूर रहने और मेहनत के साथ अपने लक्ष्य हासिल करने का आह्वान किया।
इस दौरान जयंती धीमान ने विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया और विद्यार्थियों से उनके मॉडलों की जानकारी ली। दो दिवसीय प्रतियोगिता में बाल वैज्ञानिक साइंस क्विज, इनोवेटिव साइंस मॉडल, साइंस एक्टिविटी कॉर्नर और मैथमेटिक्स ओलंपियाड में अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करेंगे। विज्ञान मॉडलों के मूल्यांकन के लिए रामपुर कॉलेज के तीन प्राध्यापकों की तैनाती की गई है। कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय की वाइस प्रिंसिपल कृष्णा नेगी, समन्वयक खेम चंद चौहान, एसएमसी प्रधान राजेंद्र सिंह और डॉ. सुंदर सिंह टैगोर सहित अन्य गणमान्य लोग मौजूद रहे। प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में वैज्ञानिक सोच, रचनात्मकता और विज्ञान के प्रति रुचि को बढ़ावा देना है।
Two-Day Children's Science Congress Begins in Rampur; 365 Young Scientists from 45 Schools Participating

The two-day sub-division level Himachal Pradesh Children's Science Congress-2026 kicked off in Rampur on Friday. Approximately 365 students from 45 schools across the Rampur, Sarahan, and Nankhari education blocks are participating in this science festival, held at the PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Rampur. Around 62 teachers are also accompanying the students in the competition. The event was inaugurated by Jayanti Dhiman, Principal of Majholi Tipper School, who attended as the chief guest. Dr. Praveen Mehta, Head of Department (Agriculture, Rampur), was present as the special guest. While extending her best wishes to the students for the competition, the chief guest urged them to stay away from evils like drug abuse and to achieve their goals through hard work.
During the event, Jayanti Dhiman inspected the science exhibition and inquired about the students' models. In this two-day competition, young scientists will showcase their talents in a science quiz, innovative science models, a science activity corner, and a mathematics olympiad. Three professors from Rampur College have been appointed to evaluate the science models. Other dignitaries present at the event included School Vice-Principal Krishna Negi, Coordinator Khem Chand Chauhan, SMC President Rajendra Singh, and Dr. Sundar Singh Tagore. The objective of organizing this competition is to foster scientific thinking, creativity, and an interest in science among students.
