जिला सिरमौर पुलिस ने नशे के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए शिलाई बाजार में 74.82 ग्राम चरस बरामद कर एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आगामी जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस के अनुसार टीम गश्त के दौरान टिक्कर के पास मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान सूचना मिली कि डाहर निवासी संजीव शिलाई बाजार के रेन शेल्टर में खड़ा है और कथित तौर पर चरस बेचने का काम करता है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर उसकी तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से कुल 74.82 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। इसके बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। मामले में पुलिस थाना शिलाई में एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस द्वारा बरामद नशीले पदार्थ के स्रोत और इसके संभावित नेटवर्क को लेकर आगामी अन्वेषण किया जा रहा है।

Taking action against the drug menace, the Sirmaur district police have arrested a man and recovered 74.82 grams of charas (cannabis resin) in Shillai market. The police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and initiated further investigation. According to the police, a team was on patrol near Tikkar when they received information that Sanjeev, a resident of Dahar, was standing at the rain shelter in Shillai market and was allegedly involved in selling charas. Acting on this information, the police team reached the spot and conducted a search. During the search, a total of 74.82 grams of charas was recovered from the accused's possession. Subsequently, the police arrested him. A case has been registered at the Shillai Police Station under the NDPS Act. Further investigation is underway regarding the source of the recovered contraband and its potential network.
