हिमाचल प्रदेश के 148 सरकारी सीबीएसई स्कूलों में शिक्षकों के लिए नया ड्रेस कोड लागू कर दिया गया है। शिक्षा विभाग के अनुसार, इस पहल का उद्देश्य शिक्षकों में अनुशासन, पेशेवर पहचान और विद्यालयों की संस्थागत गरिमा को बढ़ावा देना है। ड्रेस कोड तय करते समय प्रदेश की जलवायु और शिक्षकों की व्यावसायिक आवश्यकताओं को भी ध्यान में रखा गया है। निर्धारित ड्रेस में हल्का लाइलैक, लाइलैक पर्पल और नेवी ब्लू रंग शामिल हैं, जबकि जूते और अन्य निर्धारित एक्सेसरीज के लिए काला रंग तय किया गया है। महिला शिक्षकों के लिए साड़ी के साथ ब्लेजर, कुर्ता-कमीज के साथ पैंट, प्लाजो या सलवार तथा टाई और ब्लेजर के साथ शर्ट-ट्राउजर के विकल्प रखे गए हैं। पुरुष शिक्षकों के लिए शर्ट, ट्राउजर, टाई और ब्लेजर निर्धारित किया गया है। ड्यूटी के दौरान सभी शिक्षकों के लिए पहचान पत्र पहनना अनिवार्य होगा। ब्लेजर पर संबंधित विद्यालय या विभाग का निर्धारित लोगो भी लगाया जाएगा। शिक्षा विभाग के अनुसार, राज्य सरकार आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र से 100 और सरकारी सीबीएसई स्कूल खोलने की दिशा में भी काम कर रही है।

A new dress code has been implemented for teachers across 148 government CBSE schools in Himachal Pradesh. According to the Education Department, the initiative aims to foster discipline, professional identity, and the institutional dignity of the schools. Factors such as the state's climate and the professional requirements of the teachers were taken into account while finalizing the dress code. The prescribed attire features shades of light lilac, lilac-purple, and navy blue, while black has been designated for shoes and other specified accessories. Options for female teachers include a saree with a blazer; a kurta-kameez paired with trousers, palazzos, or a salwar; or a shirt and trousers with a tie and blazer. For male teachers, the prescribed attire consists of a shirt, trousers, a tie, and a blazer. Wearing an identity card while on duty will be mandatory for all teachers, and the designated logo of the respective school or department will be affixed to the blazer. According to the Education Department, the state government is also working towards opening another 100 government CBSE schools starting from the upcoming academic session.
