हरिद्वार में श्रद्धालुओं को परेशान करने वाले 31 भिखारी गिरफ्तार

उत्तराखंड के हरिद्वार में हरकी पैड़ी क्षेत्र में श्रद्धालुओं को जबरन भीख मांगकर परेशान करने के आरोप में पुलिस ने 31 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने सभी आरोपियों के खिलाफ भिक्षुक अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर उन्हें नियमानुसार न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया। यह कार्रवाई वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक नवनीत सिंह के निर्देश पर शहर कोतवाल कुंदन सिंह राणा के नेतृत्व में की गई। पुलिस टीम ने घाटों तक आने-जाने वाले रास्तों पर अभियान चलाकर श्रद्धालुओं का रास्ता रोकने और उन्हें परेशान करने के आरोप में इन लोगों को पकड़ा। पुलिस ने गंगा स्नान के लिए देशभर से हरिद्वार आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं से भीड़भाड़ वाले क्षेत्रों में सतर्क रहने की अपील की है। साथ ही मोबाइल फोन, आभूषण, पर्स और अन्य कीमती सामान सुरक्षित रखने की सलाह दी है। आगामी कुंभ मेला-2027 को देखते हुए प्रशासन तैयारियों में जुटा है। मेला नियंत्रण भवन में आयोजित बैठक में यातायात, पार्किंग, घाटों की सुरक्षा, स्वच्छता और चिकित्सा सुविधाओं पर चर्चा की गई। बैठक में कुंभ के लोगो, गीत और आधिकारिक वेबसाइट का प्रस्तुतिकरण भी किया गया, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को जरूरी जानकारियां आसानी से उपलब्ध हो सकें।

In Haridwar, Uttarakhand, police have arrested 31 individuals for harassing pilgrims in the Har Ki Pauri area by aggressively demanding alms. A case has been registered against all the accused under the Beggary Act, and they have been produced before a court in accordance with legal procedures. This operation was carried out under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Navneet Singh and led by City Station House Officer (SHO) Kundan Singh Rana. The police team conducted a drive along the routes leading to the ghats and apprehended these individuals for obstructing the path of pilgrims and causing them distress. The police have urged pilgrims arriving in Haridwar from across the country for a holy dip in the Ganga to remain vigilant in crowded areas. They have also advised visitors to keep their mobile phones, jewelry, wallets, and other valuables secure. Meanwhile, the administration is actively preparing for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2027. During a meeting held at the Mela Control Center, discussions were focused on traffic management, parking, security at the ghats, sanitation, and medical facilities. Additionally, the Kumbh Mela logo, theme song, and official website were unveiled to ensure that pilgrims can easily access essential information.
