हिमाचल प्रदेश के प्रसिद्ध शूलिनी मेले में रविवार शाम उस समय अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जब बच्चों के मनोरंजन के लिए लगाए गए मिकी माउस इन्फ्लेटेबल झूले की अचानक हवा निकल गई। देखते ही देखते झूला बैठ गया और उसके अंदर खेल रहे करीब 10 से 12 मासूम बच्चे उसके नीचे दब गए। घटना शाम करीब 6:45 बजे की बताई जा रही है। हादसा होते ही मेले में चीख-पुकार मच गई। मौके पर मौजूद अभिभावकों और स्थानीय लोगों ने बिना समय गंवाए झूले का हिस्सा हटाकर बच्चों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। राहत की बात यह रही कि समय रहते सभी बच्चों को बाहर निकाल लिया गया। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, हादसे के दौरान झूला संचालक मौके पर मौजूद नहीं रहा और घटना के तुरंत बाद वहां से फरार हो गया। इससे लोगों में भारी आक्रोश देखने को मिला और मौके पर हंगामे की स्थिति बन गई। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और हालात को शांत कराया। ऊना निवासी राहुल कुमार ने बताया कि उनका चार वर्षीय बेटा भी झूले पर खेल रहा था। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय नागरिक प्रदीप कुमार समेत अन्य लोगों की सूझबूझ और त्वरित कार्रवाई के चलते बच्चों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया, जिससे बड़ा हादसा टल गया। शिकायतकर्ताओं ने आरोप लगाया है कि झूला संचालक की लापरवाही के कारण यह हादसा हुआ। उन्होंने जीपीएस लोकेशन, वीडियो और अन्य साक्ष्यों के साथ पुलिस को लिखित शिकायत सौंपते हुए झूला संचालक और मालिक के खिलाफ कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग की है। फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है और यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि झूले की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में कहीं लापरवाही तो नहीं बरती गई थी। मेले में लगाए गए अन्य झूलों की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर भी अब सवाल खड़े होने लगे हैं।

The ride collapsed instantly, trapping approximately 10 to 12 innocent children underneath it. The incident reportedly occurred around 6:45 PM. Panic and screams filled the fairgrounds immediately following the accident. Parents and locals present at the scene acted swiftly, moving parts of the ride to rescue the children safely. Fortunately, all the children were pulled out in time. According to eyewitnesses, the ride operator was not present at the time of the accident and fled the scene immediately afterward. This sparked outrage among the crowd, leading to a chaotic situation. Police arrived upon receiving the information and brought the situation under control. Rahul Kumar, a resident of Una, stated that his four-year-old son was also playing on the ride. He credited the presence of mind and prompt action of locals—including Pradeep Kumar—for the safe rescue of the children, noting that a major tragedy was averted. Complainants have alleged that the accident was caused by the ride operator's negligence. They have submitted a written complaint to the police—supported by GPS location data, videos, and other evidence—demanding strict legal action against both the ride operator and the owner. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter to determine if there was any negligence regarding the ride's safety measures. Questions are now also being raised about the safety standards of other rides installed at the fair.
