मिशन शक्ति के तहत जामना विद्यालय में आयोजित हुआ जागरूकता शिविर

राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला जामना, पांवटा साहिब में महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा मिशन शक्ति के अंतर्गत बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान के तहत एक दिवसीय जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य रमेश सिंह ने किया। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं महिला सुरक्षा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर प्रकाश डाला।

शिविर में मिशन शक्ति स्टाफ की ओर से जिला समन्वयक कृतिका ठाकुर तथा जेंडर स्पेशलिस्ट सोनम परमार ने बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान, मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता, घरेलू हिंसा, दहेज निषेध, वन स्टॉप सेंटर, आंगनबाड़ी सह-क्रेच, कामकाजी महिला हॉस्टल, कार्यस्थल पर यौन उत्पीड़न से संरक्षण, पॉक्सो अधिनियम तथा बाल विवाह निषेध जैसे विषयों एवं विभिन्न योजनाओं के बारे में विद्यार्थियों को विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान की। इस अवसर पर बच्चों को गुड टच एवं बैड टच के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। साथ ही चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन 1098 तथा महिला हेल्पलाइन 181 की जानकारी भी दी गई, ताकि आवश्यकता पड़ने पर वे इन सेवाओं का लाभ उठा सकें। इन शिविरों का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में जागरूकता बढ़ाना तथा महिलाओं एवं बच्चों के अधिकारों और सुरक्षा संबंधी विषयों के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाना है। 

Awareness Camp Held at Jamna School Under 'Mission Shakti'

A one-day awareness camp was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Jamna (Paonta Sahib), by the Department of Women and Child Development under the 'Mission Shakti' initiative and the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter) campaign. The event was inaugurated by the school principal, Ramesh Singh. In his address, he highlighted crucial topics such as women's empowerment and women's safety.

During the camp, 'Mission Shakti' staff members—District Coordinator Kritika Thakur and Gender Specialist Sonam Parmar—provided detailed information to the students about the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign and various schemes. They covered topics including menstrual hygiene, domestic violence, the prohibition of dowry, One-Stop Centers, Anganwadi-cum-creches, working women's hostels, protection against sexual harassment at the workplace, the POCSO Act, and the prohibition of child marriage. On this occasion, students were educated about 'good touch' and 'bad touch.' Information regarding the Child Helpline (1098) and Women's Helpline (181) was also shared so that they could avail themselves of these services if needed. The objective of these camps is to raise awareness among students and sensitize them to issues concerning the rights and safety of women and children.
