जिला सिरमौर के पुलिस थाना पुरुवाला की टीम ने अवैध शराब के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए एक व्यक्ति के कब्जे से 4 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की है। पुलिस के अनुसार गश्त के दौरान टीम बांगरण पुल के समीप सड़क पर मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए देस राज निवासी कांशीपुर, डाकघर निहालगढ़, तहसील पांवटा साहिब के कब्जे से 4 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की गई। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना पुरुवाला में आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले में आगामी जांच जारी है।

According to the police, the team was patrolling the road near Bangran Bridge when, acting on a tip-off, they recovered 4 liters of illicit liquor from the possession of Des Raj—a resident of Kanshipur (Post Office Nihalgarh, Tehsil Paonta Sahib). The police have registered a case against the accused at the Puruwala Police Station under the Excise Act, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
