एसपी सिटी मेहर पंवार ने चौपाल थाना का किया अनौपचारिक निरीक्षण

एसपी सिटी शिमला मेहर पंवार, आईपीएस ने 13 सितंबर 2026 को पुलिस थाना चौपाल का अनौपचारिक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने थाना परिसर, कार्यालयीन व्यवस्था, अभिलेखों के रखरखाव और थाने की समग्र कार्यप्रणाली का जायजा लिया। निरीक्षण के दौरान अपराध एवं लंबित मामलों, जांच की प्रगति, कानून-व्यवस्था और ड्यूटी व्यवस्था की समीक्षा की गई। एसपी सिटी ने पुलिस अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों से बातचीत कर उनकी कार्यप्रणाली तथा समस्याओं की जानकारी भी ली। मेहर पंवार ने अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को मामलों की जांच समयबद्ध एवं निष्पक्ष तरीके से पूरी करने तथा कानून-व्यवस्था से जुड़े मामलों में तत्परता से कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने आमजन की शिकायतों का संवेदनशीलता और प्राथमिकता के आधार पर निवारण सुनिश्चित करने पर भी जोर दिया। उन्होंने पुलिस कर्मियों को अनुशासन, सतर्कता और व्यावसायिक कार्यप्रणाली बनाए रखने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही कर्मचारियों के कल्याण से जुड़े विषयों पर भी आवश्यक ध्यान देने को कहा।

SP City Shimla, Mehar Panwar (IPS), conducted an informal inspection of the Chopal Police Station on September 13, 2026. During the visit, she assessed the station premises, office arrangements, record-keeping, and the overall functioning of the station. The inspection included a review of crime statistics, pending cases, the progress of investigations, law and order maintenance, and duty arrangements. The SP City interacted with police officers and staff to understand their working methods and any issues they were facing. Mehar Panwar instructed the personnel to complete case investigations in a timely and impartial manner and to act promptly on matters related to law and order. She also emphasized the need to resolve public grievances with sensitivity and on a priority basis. She directed the police personnel to maintain discipline, vigilance, and professional conduct, while also calling for due attention to be paid to matters concerning staff welfare.
