चौपाल को विकास में बनाएंगे नंबर वन: मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह

लोक निर्माण एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने सोमवार को चौपाल विधानसभा क्षेत्र के एक दिवसीय दौरे के दौरान ननहार में आयोजित विशु मेले के समापन समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत की। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने हियून-नगाह तथा चाड़वाधार-गौनचा सड़क का लोकार्पण कर क्षेत्रवासियों को बड़ी सौगात दी। जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए मंत्री ने कहा कि चौपाल विधानसभा क्षेत्र को विकास कार्यों के मामले में प्रदेश का नंबर वन क्षेत्र बनाया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि वर्तमान में लोक निर्माण विभाग विधानसभा क्षेत्र में करीब 350 करोड़ रुपये के विकास कार्य करवा रहा है। वहीं छैला-नेरी पुल-यशवंत नगर सड़क के लिए 250 करोड़ रुपये की सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी मिल चुकी है और केंद्र सरकार की स्वीकृति मिलते ही निर्माण कार्य शुरू होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ग्रामीण सड़क योजना के तीसरे चरण के तहत चौपाल विधानसभा में 17 नई सड़कें बनाई जाएंगी। करीब 133 किलोमीटर लंबी इन सड़कों पर लगभग 150 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जाएंगे तथा सभी आवश्यक औपचारिकताएं पूरी कर ली गई हैं। इसके अलावा एचपी रेडी परियोजना के तहत भी क्षेत्र की कई सड़कों को शामिल किया जाएगा। मंत्री ने क्षेत्र की विभिन्न मांगों पर भी सकारात्मक घोषणा करते हुए चरोग-अनुसूचित जाति बस्ती क्टोट सड़क तथा पटवार खाना झीणा सड़क को लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा टेकओवर करने, चंबी-दियुंदर मंदिर मार्ग विकसित करने, ननहार पंचायत के सामुदायिक भवन का निर्माण पूरा करवाने तथा खेल मैदान के विस्तार का आश्वासन दिया। विशु मेला समिति को 31 हजार रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता देने की भी घोषणा की। इस दौरान उन्होंने प्रदेश में लागू नई ड्रेनेज पॉलिसी की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि अब नई सड़क परियोजनाओं में गोल कल्वर्ट की जगह बॉक्स कल्वर्ट बनाए जाएंगे। वैज्ञानिक जल निकासी व्यवस्था अपनाने से बारिश के दौरान सड़कों को होने वाले नुकसान में कमी आएगी और जलभराव की समस्या पर भी नियंत्रण मिलेगा। दौरे के दौरान मंत्री ने बलग, कुठार और मलकोट क्षेत्रों में लोगों की जनसमस्याएं भी सुनीं और प्राथमिकता के आधार पर उनके समाधान का भरोसा दिया। इस बीच बलग क्षेत्र में सड़क संबंधी शिकायतें सुनने के दौरान लोक निर्माण विभाग के संबंधित अधिकारी मौके पर अनुपस्थित मिले। इस पर मंत्री ने वरिष्ठ अधिकारी से जवाब तलब करते हुए संबंधित अधिकारी को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता की समस्याओं की अनदेखी किसी भी स्थिति में स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी और अधिकारियों को फील्ड में मौजूद रहकर जिम्मेदारी निभानी होगी।

Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh attended the closing ceremony of the Vishu Fair at Nanhar as the chief guest during his one-day visit to the Chopal Assembly constituency on Monday. On this occasion, he inaugurated the Hiyun-Nagah and Chadwadhar-Gauncha roads, presenting a significant gift to the local residents. Addressing a public meeting, the Minister stated that the Chopal Assembly constituency would be made the number one region in the state in terms of development works. He mentioned that the Public Works Department (PWD) is currently executing development projects worth approximately ₹350 crore in the constituency. Meanwhile, in-principle approval has been received for the Chaila-Neri Pul-Yashwant Nagar road, and construction work will commence as soon as the Central Government's approval is obtained. He stated that 17 new roads would be constructed in the Chopal constituency under the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). Approximately ₹150 crore will be spent on these roads, spanning a total length of about 133 kilometers, and all necessary formalities have been completed. Additionally, several roads in the area will be included under the HP-READY project. Responding positively to various local demands, the Minister assured that the PWD would take over the Charog-SC Basti-Ktot road and the Patwar Khana-Jhina road; he also promised to develop the Chambi-Diyundar temple route, complete the construction of the Nanhar Panchayat community hall, and expand the sports ground. He also announced financial assistance of ₹31,000 for the Vishu Fair Committee. During the visit, he briefed the public on the state's new drainage policy, stating that box culverts would henceforth be constructed instead of round culverts in new road projects. Adopting a scientific drainage system will reduce rain-related damage to roads and help control waterlogging issues. During the tour, the Minister also listened to the grievances of residents in the Balg, Kuthar, and Malkot areas and assured them that these issues would be resolved on a priority basis. Meanwhile, during the hearing of road-related grievances in the Balg area, the concerned Public Works Department (PWD) official was found absent from the site. Taking a serious view of this, the Minister sought an explanation from the senior official and directed that a show-cause notice be issued to the official concerned. He stated that ignoring public grievances would not be tolerated under any circumstances and emphasized that officials must remain present in the field to discharge their responsibilities.
