पर्यावरण संरक्षण और सतत विकास को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से इनर व्हील क्लब पांवटा साहिब की ओर से राजकीय कन्या विद्यालय छात्रावास, माजरा में विशेष पौधारोपण अभियान आयोजित किया गया। अभियान क्लब के पर्यावरण एवं सतत विकास ग्रीन इनिशिएटिव के तहत किया गया। इस दौरान छात्रावास परिसर में गुलमोहर और अमरूद के पौधे लगाए गए। अभियान के लिए सभी पौधे डॉ. एन.पी.एस. नारंग द्वारा प्रायोजित किए गए। क्लब सदस्यों ने कहा कि यह पहल पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। अभियान का नेतृत्व क्लब अध्यक्ष गुरमीत कौर नारंग ने किया। इस अवसर पर कोषाध्यक्ष अंजू वर्मा, आईएसओ शैली अग्रवाल सहित सदस्य प्रिया जिंदल, गीता खुराना, शिवानी वर्मा, शिवानी अग्रवाल, कविता, संगीता गोयल और भावना ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। छात्रावास की शिक्षिकाओं तथा ‘मेरा गाँव मेरा देश’ की अध्यक्ष पुष्पा खंडूजा ने भी पौधारोपण अभियान में सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाई। क्लब सदस्यों ने कहा कि आज लगाया गया प्रत्येक पौधा आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक वादा है। पौधारोपण जैसे छोटे लेकिन सार्थक प्रयास पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित रखने और स्वच्छ, हरित एवं टिकाऊ भविष्य के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

With the aim of promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development, the Inner Wheel Club of Paonta Sahib organized a special tree plantation drive at the Government Girls' School Hostel in Majra. The campaign was conducted under the club's 'Green Initiative' for the environment and sustainable development. During the event, Gulmohar and guava saplings were planted within the hostel premises. All the saplings for the drive were sponsored by Dr. N.P.S. Narang. Club members stated that this initiative reflects their commitment to environmental conservation. The campaign was led by Club President Gurmeet Kaur Narang. Treasurer Anju Verma and ISO Shaili Agarwal, along with members Priya Jindal, Geeta Khurana, Shivani Verma, Shivani Agarwal, Kavita, Sangeeta Goyal, and Bhavna, participated enthusiastically in the event. Teachers from the hostel and Pushpa Khanduja, President of 'Mera Gaon Mera Desh', also actively participated in the plantation drive. Club members remarked that every sapling planted today represents a promise to future generations. Small yet meaningful efforts like tree plantation play a crucial role in safeguarding the environment and building a clean, green, and sustainable future.
