हिमाचल प्रदेश की सरकारी शिक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर विधानसभा में सामने आए आंकड़ों ने चिंता बढ़ा दी है। प्रदेश में करीब 150 सरकारी स्कूल ऐसे हैं, जहां एक भी शिक्षक नहीं है, जबकि लगभग 3,500 स्कूलों में सिर्फ एक शिक्षक तैनात है। इससे इन स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई और शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं। खासकर ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में शिक्षक की कमी बच्चों के लिए बड़ी समस्या बनी हुई है।सरकार का कहना है कि शिक्षकों के रिक्त पदों को भरने और जरूरत के अनुसार स्कूलों में स्टाफ उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रक्रिया जारी है। शिक्षकों के बेहतर वितरण के लिए रेशनलाइजेशन पर भी काम किया जा रहा है। वहीं सरकार की ओर से भविष्य में बड़ी संख्या में शिक्षकों की भर्ती करने की बात कही गई है। अब देखना होगा कि शिक्षकविहीन और एकल शिक्षक वाले स्कूलों की समस्या का समाधान कितनी जल्दी होता है और प्रदेश के दूरदराज क्षेत्रों के विद्यार्थियों को पर्याप्त शिक्षक कब मिलते हैं।
