पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में शाढ़ाबाई में रोपे 110 पौधे

पर्यावरण संरक्षण और भूमि कटाव को रोकने के उद्देश्य से शाढ़ाबाई स्थित होमगार्ड ट्रेनिंग सेंटर परिसर में पौधारोपण अभियान चलाया गया। भुंतर सुधार समिति और ग्लोबल विलेज स्कूल हुरला के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित इस अभियान का शुभारंभ होमगार्ड ट्रेनिंग सेंटर के कमांडेंट विकास सकलानी ने पौधा रोपकर किया। इस दौरान पॉपुलर, देवदार, बान, कयोश और डोडन सहित विभिन्न प्रजातियों के कुल 110 पौधे रोपे गए। कमांडेंट विकास सकलानी ने कहा कि होमगार्ड ट्रेनिंग सेंटर व्यास नदी के किनारे स्थित है, जहां भूमि कटाव की संभावना बनी रहती है। ऐसे में परिसर में पौधारोपण पर्यावरण संरक्षण के साथ-साथ भविष्य में भूमि कटाव को रोकने में भी मददगार साबित होगा। उन्होंने इस पहल के लिए भुंतर सुधार समिति, ग्लोबल विलेज स्कूल और अभियान में शामिल बच्चों की सराहना की। भुंतर सुधार समिति के अध्यक्ष रोशन लाल, ग्लोबल विलेज स्कूल हुरला के प्रधानाचार्य गणेश भारद्वाज और चेयरमैन कैलाश ने कहा कि पर्यावरण की रक्षा प्रत्येक नागरिक की जिम्मेदारी है। जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण प्राकृतिक आपदाओं का खतरा बढ़ रहा है, ऐसे में पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए सरकारी संस्थाओं के साथ सामाजिक संगठनों, शिक्षण संस्थानों और आम लोगों की भागीदारी भी जरूरी है। अभियान के दौरान सभी प्रतिभागियों ने लगाए गए पौधों की नियमित देखभाल और संरक्षण का संकल्प लिया। समिति के पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि भुंतर सुधार समिति पर्यावरण संरक्षण के अलावा नशा मुक्ति और सामाजिक जागरूकता के क्षेत्र में भी लगातार कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने पौधारोपण अभियान में सहयोग के लिए वन विभाग, होमगार्ड विभाग, स्थानीय लोगों और अन्य सहयोगी संस्थाओं का आभार जताया।
110 Saplings Planted at Shadhabai for Environmental Conservation

A tree plantation drive was conducted at the Home Guard Training Center complex in Shadhabai with the aim of environmental conservation and preventing soil erosion. Organized jointly by the Bhuntar Sudhar Samiti and Global Village School, Hurla, the campaign was inaugurated by Home Guard Training Center Commandant Vikas Saklani, who planted a sapling. A total of 110 saplings of various species—including Poplar, Deodar, Baan, Kayosh, and Dodan—were planted during the event. Commandant Vikas Saklani noted that the Home Guard Training Center is situated along the banks of the Beas River, an area prone to soil erosion. Consequently, planting trees within the complex will aid in environmental conservation while also helping to prevent soil erosion in the future. He commended the Bhuntar Sudhar Samiti, Global Village School, and the participating children for this initiative. Roshan Lal (President, Bhuntar Sudhar Samiti), Ganesh Bhardwaj (Principal, Global Village School, Hurla), and Kailash (Chairman) emphasized that protecting the environment is the responsibility of every citizen. With the risk of natural disasters rising due to climate change, the participation of social organizations, educational institutions, and the general public—alongside government bodies—is essential for environmental conservation. During the campaign, all participants pledged to regularly care for and protect the planted saplings. Committee office-bearers stated that, in addition to environmental conservation, the Bhuntar Sudhar Samiti is actively working in the fields of de-addiction and social awareness. They expressed their gratitude to the Forest Department, Home Guard Department, local residents, and other supporting organizations for their cooperation in the plantation drive.
