ज्वालामुखी में पुल के पिलर से टकराया सरिये से लदा ट्रक, चालक की मौत

हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा जिले के ज्वालामुखी क्षेत्र में मटौर-कांगड़ा-शिमला फोरलेन पर सोमवार को दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हुआ। बलूग्लोआ के पास सरिये से लदा एक ट्रक अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर फोरलेन के पुल के पिलर से जा टकराया। हादसे में ट्रक चालक प्रवीण कुमार (50) की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। जानकारी के अनुसार ट्रक सरिया लेकर गगल की ओर जा रहा था। बलूग्लोआ के पास पहुंचते ही ट्रक अनियंत्रित हो गया और पुल के पिलर से जोरदार टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि ट्रक में लदे सरिये केबिन को चीरते हुए चालक के शरीर के आर-पार हो गए, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही आसपास के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और पुलिस को इसकी जानकारी दी। दुर्घटना के बाद फोरलेन पर वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई और कुछ समय के लिए यातायात प्रभावित रहा। पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर स्थिति संभाली और हादसे के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी। प्रारंभिक जानकारी में हादसे का कारण ब्रेक फेल होना बताया जा रहा है, हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही होगी। पुलिस हादसे के सभी पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है। मृतक चालक प्रवीण कुमार चैतड़ू निवासी बताए गए हैं।

A tragic road accident occurred on Monday on the Mataur-Kangra-Shimla four-lane highway in the Jwalamukhi area of Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Near Balugloa, a truck loaded with steel bars (rebars) suddenly went out of control and collided with a bridge pillar. The truck driver, Praveen Kumar (50), died on the spot. According to reports, the truck was transporting the steel bars towards Gaggal. Upon reaching Balugloa, the vehicle lost control and struck the bridge pillar with great force. The impact was so severe that the steel bars pierced through the cabin and went right through the driver's body, causing his immediate death. Upon learning of the accident, locals rushed to the scene and informed the police. Following the crash, a long queue of vehicles formed on the highway, and traffic was disrupted for some time. The police arrived at the site, managed the situation, and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. Preliminary information suggests brake failure as the cause, though official confirmation will only be available after the investigation concludes. The police are examining all aspects of the incident. The deceased driver, Praveen Kumar, was reportedly a resident of Chaitru.
