हिमाचल के पर्वतारोही विशाल ठाकुर ने 23,409 फीट ऊंची नून पीक की फतह

हिमाचल प्रदेश के हमीरपुर जिले के पर्वतारोही विशाल ठाकुर ने हिमालय की ज़ांस्कर रेंज की 23,409 फीट (7,135 मीटर) ऊंची नून पीक को सफलतापूर्वक फतह कर प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है। विशाल ठाकुर समेत चार सदस्यीय दल ने इस बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण और तकनीकी पर्वतारोहण अभियान को महज चार दिनों में पूरा किया। अभियान दल में विशाल ठाकुर के साथ राहुल, निकिता ठाकुर और राकेश सिंह नेगी शामिल रहे। टीम ने 26 अगस्त 2026 को कारगिल के तांगोल गांव से अभियान की शुरुआत की। कठिन परिस्थितियों और चुनौतीपूर्ण रास्तों को पार करते हुए टीम ने नून पीक की चोटी पर सफलता हासिल की और 30 अगस्त को वापस तांगोल गांव पहुंचकर अभियान पूरा किया। मूल रूप से हमीरपुर जिले के रहने वाले विशाल ठाकुर वर्तमान में चंडीगढ़ में रहते हैं। उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत ट्रैकिंग से की थी, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे पर्वतारोहण के क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ते गए। अब वह पूर्ण रूप से पर्वतारोहण से जुड़े हुए हैं और अन्य युवाओं को भी पर्वतारोहण की ट्रेनिंग देते हैं। नून पीक की चढ़ाई विशाल ठाकुर और उनकी टीम के लिए एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है। 23 हजार फीट से अधिक ऊंचाई पर स्थित इस चोटी पर पहुंचना बेहद कठिन माना जाता है। चार सदस्यीय टीम की इस सफलता से हिमाचल के पर्वतारोहण क्षेत्र में उत्साह का माहौल है और विशाल की उपलब्धि युवा पर्वतारोहियों के लिए प्रेरणा बनी है।

Vishal Thakur, a mountaineer from the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, has brought glory to the state by successfully scaling Nun Peak—standing at 23,409 feet (7,135 meters)—in the Zanskar Range of the Himalayas. A four-member team, including Vishal Thakur, completed this highly challenging and technical mountaineering expedition in just four days. Alongside Vishal Thakur, the expedition team comprised Rahul, Nikita Thakur, and Rakesh Singh Negi. The team commenced the expedition on August 26 from Tangol village in Kargil. Navigating through arduous conditions and challenging terrain, the team successfully reached the summit of Nun Peak and concluded the expedition upon returning to Tangol village on August 30. Originally from Hamirpur district, Vishal Thakur currently resides in Chandigarh. He began his career with trekking but gradually advanced into the field of mountaineering. He is now fully dedicated to mountaineering and also trains other young people in the sport. Scaling Nun Peak marks a significant achievement for Vishal Thakur and his team; reaching this summit, situated at an altitude exceeding 23,000 feet, is considered an extremely difficult feat. This success by the four-member team has generated great enthusiasm within Himachal's mountaineering community, and Vishal's achievement serves as an inspiration for aspiring young mountaineers.
