भाजपा प्रदेश प्रवक्ता बलदेव तोमर ने मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू के ताजा बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री को भाजपा का फोबिया हो गया है। प्रदेश में कोई भी मुद्दा उठता है तो उसका दोष भारतीय जनता पार्टी पर मढ़ने का प्रयास किया जाता है। अपनी सरकार की विफलताओं और जनता के सवालों का उत्तर देने के बजाय मुख्यमंत्री राजनीतिक आरोप-प्रत्यारोप में व्यस्त हैं। तोमर ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अपनी संपत्ति को लेकर उठे सवालों का जवाब देने के लिए स्वतंत्र हैं, लेकिन किसी प्रतिष्ठित एजेंसी या सार्वजनिक मंच पर प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट के लिए भाजपा को जिम्मेदार ठहराना पूरी तरह निराधार है। यदि मुख्यमंत्री को लगता है कि उनके बारे में कोई तथ्य गलत प्रस्तुत किया गया है तो वे संबंधित मंच पर अपना पक्ष रख सकते हैं, लेकिन हर विषय में भाजपा को घसीटना उनकी राजनीतिक असहजता को दर्शाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश की जनता आज सरकार से यह जानना चाहती है कि पेखूबेला जलविद्युत परियोजना से जुड़े विवादों, धारा 118 से संबंधित मामलों, सोलन के चर्चित भूमि एवं हाउसिंग प्रोजेक्ट विवादों तथा अन्य प्रशासनिक मामलों में उठे प्रश्नों का निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी समाधान कब होगा। हाल के महीनों में धारा 118 और सोलन के चेस्टर हिल्स परियोजना से जुड़े कथित बेनामी लेनदेन एवं भूमि हस्तांतरण संबंधी मामलों ने प्रदेश की प्रशासनिक कार्यप्रणाली पर गंभीर प्रश्न खड़े किए हैं और इनकी जांच की मांग भी सार्वजनिक रूप से उठी है। बलदेव तोमर ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री को विपक्ष पर अनर्गल आरोप लगाने के बजाय प्रदेश की आर्थिक स्थिति, युवाओं के भविष्य, निवेश, रोजगार, भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों और विकास कार्यों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। लोकतंत्र में सवालों का जवाब तथ्यों से दिया जाता है, राजनीतिक कटाक्षों से नहीं। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा जनहित के मुद्दों को उठाती रहेगी और प्रदेश की जनता से जुड़े प्रत्येक विषय पर सरकार से जवाबदेही मांगती रहेगी।

Reacting to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's recent statement, BJP state spokesperson Baldev Tomar remarked that the Chief Minister is suffering from a "BJP phobia." Whenever an issue arises in the state, an attempt is made to pin the blame on the Bharatiya Janata Party. Instead of addressing his government's failures or answering questions from the public, the Chief Minister is preoccupied with political blame games. Tomar stated that while the Chief Minister is free to respond to questions regarding his assets, holding the BJP responsible for reports published by reputable agencies or on public platforms is completely baseless. If the Chief Minister believes that facts concerning him have been misrepresented, he can present his side on the relevant platform; however, dragging the BJP into every matter reveals his political unease. He noted that the people of the state want to know when there will be a fair and transparent resolution to issues such as the controversies surrounding the Pekhubela Hydroelectric Project, matters related to Section 118, the high-profile land and housing project disputes in Solan, and other administrative concerns. In recent months, issues involving Section 118 and the alleged *benami* (proxy) transactions and land transfers linked to the Chester Hills project in Solan have raised serious questions about the state's administrative functioning, leading to public demands for an investigation. Baldev Tomar asserted that instead of leveling baseless allegations against the opposition, the Chief Minister should focus on the state's economic condition, the future of the youth, investment, employment, corruption allegations, and development works. In a democracy, questions are answered with facts, not political jibes. He affirmed that the BJP would continue to raise issues of public interest and demand accountability from the government on every matter concerning the people of the state.
