जिला सिरमौर के पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब के अंतर्गत गांव किशनपुरा में करंट लगने से एक गाय की मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य गायें बेहोश हो गईं। मामले में पशुपालक ने बिजली विभाग की कथित लापरवाही का आरोप लगाते हुए पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई है। शिकायतकर्ता दीपक कुमार पुत्र जागर सिंह निवासी गांव किशनपुरा के अनुसार, उनके घर के पास स्थित पशुशाला में बंधी तीन गायों को अचानक बिजली का करंट लग गया। गायों की तेज आवाज सुनकर वह राहुल और शेर सिंह के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे तथा उन्हें बचाने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन इस दौरान उन्हें भी करंट का झटका लगा। बताया गया कि काफी मशक्कत के बाद रस्सियां काटकर गायों को करंट की चपेट से बाहर निकाला गया। हादसे में एक गाय की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य गायें बेहोश हो गईं। पुलिस ने शिकायत के आधार पर मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले की जांच जारी है और करंट लगने के कारणों के साथ-साथ लगाए गए आरोपों की भी जांच की जा रही है।

A cow died and two others lost consciousness after suffering an electric shock in Kishanpura village, under the jurisdiction of the Paonta Sahib police station in Sirmaur district. The cattle owner has lodged a police complaint alleging negligence on the part of the Electricity Department. According to the complainant, Deepak Kumar (son of Jagar Singh, a resident of Kishanpura village), three cows tethered in the shed near his home were suddenly struck by an electric current. Hearing the cows' loud distress calls, he rushed to the spot with Rahul and Sher Singh and attempted to save them, but he too received an electric shock during the process. It is reported that after considerable effort, the ropes were cut to free the cows from the live current. One cow died on the spot, while the other two fell unconscious. The police have registered a case based on the complaint. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the electric shock and to verify the allegations made.
