जिला सिरमौर में नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत पुलिस थाना माजरा की टीम ने एक व्यक्ति को 8 ग्राम चिट्टा (हेरोइन) के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी की पहचान मोहम्मद इकराम पुत्र मोहम्मद हनीफ निवासी जगतपुर, डाकघर मिश्रवाला, तहसील पांवटा साहिब के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस के अनुसार, टीम जगतपुर चौक के समीप गश्त पर मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि जगतपुर में मदरसे के सामने स्थित एक घर से नशीले पदार्थ की बिक्री की जा रही है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए संबंधित घर की तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी के कब्जे से 8 ग्राम चिट्टा (हेरोइन) बरामद किया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। मामले में पुलिस थाना माजरा में एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस द्वारा मामले की आगामी जांच जारी है तथा नशे के नेटवर्क से जुड़े अन्य पहलुओं की भी जांच की जा रही है।

As part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign in Sirmaur district, a team from the Majra Police Station has arrested a man with 8 grams of 'Chitta' (heroin). The accused has been identified as Mohammad Ikram, son of Mohammad Hanif, a resident of Jagatpur (Post Office Mishrawala, Tehsil Paonta Sahib). According to the police, the team was on patrol near Jagatpur Chowk when they received information that narcotics were being sold from a house located opposite the madrasa in Jagatpur. Acting on this information, the police team immediately searched the house in question. During the search, they recovered 8 grams of 'Chitta' (heroin) from the accused's possession and subsequently arrested him. A case has been registered at the Majra Police Station under the NDPS Act. Further investigation into the matter is underway, and the police are also examining other aspects linked to the drug network.
