शिमला में एक DSP की ओर से जातिगत प्रताड़ना के लगाए गए आरोपों के मामले में राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग (NCSC) ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के DGP को दिल्ली तलब किया है। आयोग ने मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए पुलिस महानिदेशक से संबंधित दस्तावेजों और कार्रवाई की जानकारी मांगी है। आरोप है कि DSP को कथित तौर पर जातिगत आधार पर प्रताड़ित किया गया। शिकायत में यह भी दावा किया गया कि अधिकारी से सरकारी गाड़ी और PSO की सुविधा वापस ले ली गई थी। इस पूरे मामले को लेकर DSP ने आयोग का दरवाजा खटखटाया था। अब राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के DGP को व्यक्तिगत रूप से पेश होने के निर्देश दिए हैं। आयोग की कार्रवाई के बाद इस मामले ने प्रदेश पुलिस महकमे में भी चर्चा बढ़ा दी है। आगे की सुनवाई में आरोपों और पुलिस की ओर से की गई कार्रवाई को लेकर स्थिति और स्पष्ट होने की उम्मीद है।

The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has summoned the Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) to Delhi regarding allegations of caste-based harassment raised by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Shimla. Treating the matter seriously, the Commission has sought relevant documents and details of the action taken from the DGP. It is alleged that the DSP was harassed on caste grounds. The complaint also claims that the officer was deprived of facilities such as an official vehicle and a Personal Security Officer (PSO). The DSP had approached the Commission regarding this entire matter. Now, the NCSC has directed the Himachal Pradesh DGP to appear in person. This move by the Commission has sparked discussions within the state police department. The situation regarding the allegations and the police's response is expected to become clearer during the subsequent hearings.
