कुल्लू में रक्षाबंधन के दिन शुक्रवार को बड़ा सड़क हादसा हो गया। भेखली-ब्यासर सड़क पर हिमाचल पथ परिवहन निगम (HRTC) की बस अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर पहाड़ी से टकरा गई। बस में करीब 70 यात्री सवार बताए जा रहे थे, जिनमें बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं शामिल थीं। हादसे में करीब 38 यात्री घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल कुल्लू पहुंचाया गया। प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार बस के ब्रेक फेल होने के बाद चालक ने वाहन को नियंत्रित करने का प्रयास किया। सड़क के दूसरी ओर गहरी ढांक होने के कारण चालक ने बस को पहाड़ी की ओर मोड़कर रोकने की कोशिश की। इससे बस खाई में गिरने से बच गई और एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया। टक्कर के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जिसके बाद स्थानीय लोगों और राहत टीमों ने घायलों को बस से बाहर निकालने में मदद की। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और प्रशासन की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और राहत एवं बचाव कार्य शुरू किया। घायलों का अस्पताल में उपचार चल रहा है। शुरुआती रिपोर्टों में किसी जनहानि की सूचना नहीं है। पुलिस ने हादसे के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है और बस की तकनीकी स्थिति समेत अन्य पहलुओं की जांच की जा रही है

A major road accident occurred in Kullu on Friday, the day of Raksha Bandhan. An HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) bus suddenly went out of control on the Bhekhli-Byasar road and collided with a hillside. Reportedly, around 70 passengers were on board, including a large number of women. Approximately 38 passengers were injured in the incident. All the injured were taken to the Regional Hospital in Kullu for treatment. According to preliminary information, the driver attempted to control the vehicle after the brakes failed. Facing a deep gorge on the opposite side of the road, the driver tried to stop the bus by steering it towards the hillside. This maneuver prevented the bus from plunging into the gorge, thereby averting a potentially catastrophic disaster. Chaos ensued at the scene following the collision, and local residents along with rescue teams helped evacuate the injured passengers from the bus. Upon receiving news of the accident, police and administrative teams arrived at the site and initiated relief and rescue operations. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital; initial reports indicate no fatalities. The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, examining various aspects, including the technical condition of the bus.
