IIM सिरमौर के छात्र प्रारब्ध शुक्ला की संदिग्ध मृत्यु के मामले में एसपी सिरमौर ने विशेष जांच दल का गठन किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार दिनांक 22 अगस्त को पुलिस थाना माजरा में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। यह शिकायत मृतक छात्र के पिता अनुपम शुक्ला पुत्र स्व. शशि भूषण शुक्ला, निवासी जबलपुर (मध्य प्रदेश) द्वारा दर्ज करवाई गई है। शिकायत में पिता ने आरोप लगाया है कि उनके पुत्र स्व. प्रारब्ध शुक्ला, जो आईआईएम सिरमौर का छात्र था, की मौत संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में हुई है। उन्होंने संस्थान प्रशासन पर लापरवाही, सूचना छिपाने, अपर्याप्त निगरानी तथा साथी छात्रों और प्रशासन द्वारा उनके पुत्र को धमकाने व मानसिक उत्पीड़न करने के गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। शिकायतकर्ता द्वारा वरिष्ठ अधिकारी की निगरानी में एसआईटी गठन की मांग की गई थी। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए एसपी सिरमौर ने तुरंत एसआईटी का गठन किया है। एसआईटी के अध्यक्ष डीएसपी पांवटा साहिब मानवेन्द्र ठाकुर होंगे। टीम में एसएचओ माजरा कुलदीप सिंह, जांच अधिकारी एएसआई आशीष कुमार, हेड कांस्टेबल इन्द्रजीत, रोहित (प्रभारी साइबर सेल नाहन, कमाल खान और आरक्षी अशोक कुमार सदस्य के रूप में शामिल रहेंगे। एसपी सिरमौर निश्चिंत सिंह नेगी ने बताया कि एसआईटी द्वारा इस मामले की वैज्ञानिक, निष्पक्ष और गहन जांच की जाएगी। छात्र के परिजनों द्वारा लगाई गई सभी शिकायतों और संस्थान के रवैये की भी गहनता से जांच की जाएगी।

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Sirmaur has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the suspicious death of Prarabdh Shukla, a student at IIM Sirmaur. According to reports, a case was registered at the Majra Police Station on August 22. The complaint was filed by the deceased student's father, Anupam Shukla (son of the late Shashi Bhushan Shukla), a resident of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In the complaint, the father alleges that his son, the late Prarabdh Shukla, died under suspicious circumstances. He has leveled serious allegations against the institute's administration, citing negligence, concealment of information, inadequate supervision, and claims that his son was subjected to threats and mental harassment by fellow students and the administration. The complainant had requested the formation of an SIT under the supervision of a senior officer. Given the gravity of the matter, the SP Sirmaur immediately constituted the SIT. DSP Paonta Sahib, Manvendra Thakur, will head the SIT. The team will include SHO Majra Kuldeep Singh, Investigating Officer ASI Ashish Kumar, Head Constables Inderjit and Rohit (In-charge, Cyber Cell Nahan), Kamal Khan, and Constable Ashok Kumar as members. SP Sirmaur Nishchint Singh Negi stated that the SIT would conduct a scientific, impartial, and thorough investigation into the case. All grievances raised by the student's family, as well as the conduct of the institute, will also be investigated in depth.
