जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब में 10 वर्षीय मासूम के साथ हुई कथित दुष्कर्म की घटना ने समाज को झकझोर कर रख दिया है। पुलिस ने मामले में आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और जांच जारी है। इसी बीच पीड़ित परिवार के सामने सुरक्षित आशियाने का संकट खड़ा हो गया है। बताया जा रहा है कि कुछ दिन पहले परिवार का झोपड़ीनुमा मकान जमींदोज हो गया था। आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवार के लिए नया घर बनाना मुश्किल है। बच्ची के पिता के दिव्यांग होने की बात भी सामने आई है, जिसके चलते परिवार की परेशानियां और बढ़ गई हैं। परिवार की स्थिति को देखते हुए सामाजिक संस्था ‘जिंदगी रिटर्न्स’ ने नया आशियाना बनाने का बीड़ा उठाया है। सोमवार को नाहन में आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में संस्था ने समाज के लोगों से इस मुहिम में सहयोग करने की अपील की। संस्था ने कहा कि वह स्वयं भी घर निर्माण में आर्थिक सहयोग करेगी। संस्था ने ‘एक ईंट आपकी, एक ईंट हमारी’ अभियान के तहत लोगों से अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार सहयोग करने की अपील की है। संस्था के अनुसार 500 या 1,000 रुपये की राशि से लेकर निर्माण सामग्री तक का सहयोग परिवार के लिए बड़ी मदद साबित हो सकता है। प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के बाद कई लोगों ने सहयोग का भरोसा भी दिलाया। ‘जिंदगी रिटर्न्स’ ने मीडिया और आम लोगों से बच्ची की पहचान व निजता की पूरी तरह से रक्षा करने की अपील की। संस्था ने कहा कि घटना का दर्द मिटाना संभव नहीं, लेकिन परिवार को सुरक्षित छत और यह भरोसा जरूर दिया जा सकता है कि मुश्किल वक्त में समाज उनके साथ खड़ा है।

An alleged rape incident involving a 10-year-old girl in Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur district, has shaken society. The police have arrested the accused, and the investigation is underway. Meanwhile, the victim's family is facing a housing crisis; their hut-like home had collapsed a few days ago. Building a new house is a challenge for this financially disadvantaged family. The fact that the girl's father is differently-abled has further compounded the family's hardships. In light of their situation, the social organization ‘Zindagi Returns’ has taken up the initiative to build a new home for them. During a press conference held in Nahan on Monday, the organization appealed to the public to support this cause. The organization stated that it would also contribute financially to the construction. Under the campaign ‘Ek Eent Aapki, Ek Eent Hamari’ (One brick from you, one brick from us), they have asked people to contribute according to their means. According to the organization, contributions ranging from ₹500 or ₹1,000 to construction materials could prove to be a significant help to the family. Following the press conference, several people pledged their support. ‘Zindagi Returns’ also appealed to the media and the general public to fully protect the girl's identity and privacy. The organization remarked that while it is impossible to erase the pain of the incident, they can certainly provide the family with a safe roof and the assurance that society stands with them during these difficult times.
