ऐतिहासिक ठोडो मैदान में चल रहे राष्ट्रीय मां शूलिनी मेले की पहली सांस्कृतिक संध्या का आगाज बेहद शानदार रहा। प्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण, सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता तथा सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री कर्नल डॉ. धनी राम शांडिल ने गत शाम दीप प्रज्वलित कर इस सांस्कृतिक उत्सव का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया। इस खास मौके पर दून विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विधायक राम कुमार चौधरी विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में मौजूद रहे।समारोह के दौरान डॉ. धनी राम शांडिल ने सभी सोलन वासियों और प्रदेश भर से आए लोगों को मां शूलिनी मेले की बधाई दी। उन्होंने सोलन की इस ऐतिहासिक सांस्कृतिक विरासत को राष्ट्रीय स्तर का दर्जा देने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू का विशेष रूप से आभार जताया। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि यह मेला न केवल सोलन बल्कि पूरे हिमाचल प्रदेश की सांस्कृतिक धरोहर का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि मेले के स्वरूप को हर साल और ज्यादा भव्य, आकर्षक और आधुनिक रूप देने के लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।मेले की इस पहली सांस्कृतिक शाम में कलाकारों ने अपनी प्रस्तुतियों से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। मशहूर सिंगर और इंडियन आइडल विजेता पवनदीप राजन ने जब मंच संभाला, तो पूरा ठोडो मैदान उनके गानों की धुन पर झूम उठा। उनके अलावा गायक कुमार साहिल और नितिश राजपूत ने भी अपनी बेहतरीन आवाज का जादू बिखेरा। इस शाम का एक और बड़ा आकर्षण आकर्षक ‘तनूरा डांस’ रहा, जिसे देखने के लिए लोग बेहद उत्साहित दिखे। साथ ही स्थानीय कलाकारों को भी अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का बेहतरीन मंच मिला, जिन्होंने हिमाचली संस्कृति के रंग बिखेरे। इससे पहले, मां शूलिनी मेला समिति के अध्यक्ष एवं सोलन के उपायुक्त मनमोहन शर्मा ने मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. धनी राम शांडिल और विशिष्ट अतिथि राम कुमार चौधरी का हिमाचली परंपरा के अनुसार गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया और उन्हें सम्मानित किया। इस सांस्कृतिक शाम के दौरान जोगिन्द्रा केंद्रीय सहकारी बैंक के अध्यक्ष मुकेश शर्मा, कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता शिव कुमार व संजीव ठाकुर, हिमाचल प्रदेश व्यापार कल्याण बोर्ड के सदस्य शोभित बहल और कांग्रेस सोशल मीडिया प्रभारी सक्षम शर्मा सहित पार्टी के कई पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। वहीं प्रशासनिक अमले से पुलिस अधीक्षक सोलन तिरुमला राजू एस.डी. वर्मा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त राहुल जैन और नगर निगम सोलन की आयुक्त एकता कापटा समेत कई अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और भारी संख्या में संगीत प्रेमी मौजूद रहे।

The first cultural evening of the national-level Maa Shulini Fair, currently underway at the historic Thodo Ground, got off to a spectacular start. Colonel Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, the state's Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, and Sainik Welfare, formally inaugurated the cultural festivities yesterday evening by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Ram Kumar Chaudhary, MLA from the Doon Assembly constituency, was present as the guest of honor on this special occasion. During the ceremony, Dr. Shandil extended his greetings for the Maa Shulini Fair to all residents of Solan and visitors from across the state. He expressed special gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for elevating this historic cultural heritage of Solan to a national level. The Health Minister remarked that the fair symbolizes the cultural heritage not only of Solan but of the entire state of Himachal Pradesh. He assured that continuous efforts are being made to make the fair grander, more attractive, and modern with each passing year. Artists captivated the audience with their performances during this inaugural cultural evening. When renowned singer and *Indian Idol* winner Pawandeep Rajan took the stage, the entire Thodo Ground swayed to the tunes of his songs. Singers Kumar Sahil and Nitish Rajput also cast a spell with their magnificent voices. Another major highlight of the evening was the captivating 'Tanoura Dance,' which drew enthusiastic interest from the crowd. Additionally, local artists were provided an excellent platform to showcase their talent, bringing the vibrant colors of Himachali culture to the fore. Earlier, Manmohan Sharma, Chairman of the Maa Shulini Fair Committee and Deputy Commissioner of Solan, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest, Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, and the guest of honor, Ram Kumar Chaudhary, honoring them in accordance with Himachali traditions. Several party office-bearers were present during this cultural evening, including Mukesh Sharma (Chairman of Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank), senior Congress leaders Shiv Kumar and Sanjeev Thakur, Shobhit Behl (member of the Himachal Pradesh Trade Welfare Board), and Saksham Sharma (Congress Social Media In-charge). Meanwhile, the administration was represented by Solan Superintendent of Police Tirumala Raju S.D. Verma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Jain, and Solan Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ekta Kapta, alongside other senior officials and a large number of music enthusiasts.
