जिला सिरमौर बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप-2026 (सीनियर एवं अंडर-19 वर्ग) में निकुंज रमौल और नोशी रमौल ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए इतिहास रच दिया। नाहन में आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में दोनों खिलाड़ियों ने मिलकर कुल 10 इवेंट्स में से 9 खिताब अपने नाम कर जिले में अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया। निकुंज रमौल ने सीनियर पुरुष युगल (अभिषेक के साथ), सीनियर मिश्रित युगल (नोशी रमौल के साथ), अंडर-19 बालक एकल, अंडर-19 बालक युगल (पार्थ ठाकुर के साथ) तथा अंडर-19 मिश्रित युगल प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया। वहीं नोशी रमौल ने सीनियर महिला एकल, सीनियर महिला युगल (ऐश्वर्या वर्मा के साथ), सीनियर मिश्रित युगल, अंडर-19 बालिका एकल, अंडर-19 बालिका युगल (सुरभि के साथ) तथा अंडर-19 मिश्रित युगल में जीत दर्ज की। दोनों खिलाड़ियों के उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के आधार पर उनका चयन सिरमौर जिला बैडमिंटन टीम में किया गया है। अब वे 5 से 8 अगस्त 2026 तक जिला हमीरपुर के नादौन में आयोजित होने वाली हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य सीनियर एवं अंडर-19 बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप में सिरमौर जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। इस उपलब्धि पर दोनों खिलाड़ियों के कोच विक्रांत शर्मा को उनके समर्पित प्रशिक्षण और मार्गदर्शन के लिए बधाई दी गई। साथ ही दून वैली स्कूल, भट्टांवाली, पांवटा साहिब की प्रधानाचार्या शिवानी पांडे के निरंतर सहयोग तथा संजय कौशल द्वारा उपलब्ध कराई गई उत्कृष्ट खेल सुविधाओं के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया गया। परिजनों ने विश्वास जताया कि निकुंज रमौल और नोशी रमौल राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में भी शानदार प्रदर्शन कर सिरमौर और हिमाचल प्रदेश का नाम रोशन करेंगे तथा भविष्य में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी अपनी सफलता का परचम लहराएंगे।

Nikunj Ramaul and Noshi Ramaul made history with their stellar performance at the Sirmaur District Badminton Championship 2026 (Senior and Under-19 categories). Competing in Nahan, the duo asserted their talent by winning 9 out of the 10 contested events. Nikunj Ramaul secured first place in Senior Men's Doubles (with Abhishek), Senior Mixed Doubles (with Noshi Ramaul), Under-19 Boys' Singles, Under-19 Boys' Doubles (with Parth Thakur), and Under-19 Mixed Doubles. Meanwhile, Noshi Ramaul triumphed in Senior Women's Singles, Senior Women's Doubles (with Aishwarya Verma), Senior Mixed Doubles, Under-19 Girls' Singles, Under-19 Girls' Doubles (with Surbhi), and Under-19 Mixed Doubles. Based on their outstanding performance, both players have been selected for the Sirmaur District Badminton team. They will now represent Sirmaur district at the Himachal Pradesh State Senior and Under-19 Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Nadaun (Hamirpur district) from August 5 to August 8, 2026. Coach Vikrant Sharma was congratulated for his dedicated training and guidance that led to this achievement. Gratitude was also expressed to Shivani Pandey, Principal of Doon Valley School (Bhattanwali, Paonta Sahib), for her constant support, and to Sanjay Kaushal for providing excellent sports facilities. Their families expressed confidence that Nikunj Ramaul and Noshi Ramaul would continue to shine in the state-level competition, bringing glory to Sirmaur and Himachal Pradesh, and would achieve great success at the national level in the future.
