सोलन लगातार हो रही बारिश के बीच कालका-शिमला हेरिटेज रेलवे ट्रैक पर एक बार फिर यातायात प्रभावित हुआ है। सोलन जिले में कोटी और गुम्मन रेलवे स्टेशनों के बीच रेलवे ट्रैक के नीचे की मिट्टी खिसकने से ट्रैक का एक हिस्सा हवा में लटक गया। स्थिति को देखते हुए रेलवे ने यात्रियों की सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर कालका-शिमला के बीच चलने वाली 10 टॉय ट्रेन सेवाओं को रद्द कर दिया।बताया जा रहा है कि भारी बारिश के कारण रेलवे ट्रैक के नीचे की जमीन बह गई, जिससे ट्रैक को नुकसान पहुंचा है। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने मौके का निरीक्षण कर स्थिति का जायजा लिया है। ट्रैक की मरम्मत और सुरक्षा जांच के बाद ही रेल सेवा को सामान्य रूप से बहाल किया जाएगा। इस घटना के कारण शिमला जाने वाले पर्यटकों और स्थानीय यात्रियों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा।

Train operations on the Kalka-Shimla heritage railway track have once again been disrupted due to incessant rains. In Solan district, a section of the track was left suspended in mid-air after the soil beneath it shifted between the Koti and Gumman railway stations. In the interest of passenger safety, the railways cancelled 10 toy train services operating between Kalka and Shimla. Reports indicate that heavy rainfall washed away the ground beneath the railway track, causing damage to the line. Railway officials have inspected the site to assess the situation. Train services will be restored to normal only after the track undergoes repairs and safety checks. Tourists heading to Shimla and local commuters faced inconvenience due to this incident.
