पंजाब के युवक से 16.02 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद, बाइक समेत गिरफ्तार

नूरपुर: नशे के अवैध कारोबार के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत पुलिस जिला नूरपुर की सीआईए विंग ने छतरोली क्षेत्र में कार्रवाई करते हुए एक युवक को 16.02 ग्राम चिट्टे के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी की पहचान अजय कुमार निवासी हरियाल, तहसील एवं जिला पठानकोट, पंजाब के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि युवक बाइक पर छतरोली खड्ड में चिट्टा लेकर मौजूद है और इसे छतरोली व जसूर क्षेत्र में बेचने की तैयारी में है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और युवक को बाइक समेत काबू कर लिया। तलाशी के दौरान बाइक के डैशबोर्ड के अंदर छिपाकर रखी पारदर्शी पॉलीथीन की पुड़ियां बरामद हुईं। जांच करने पर पुड़ियों में 16.02 ग्राम चिट्टा पाया गया। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर बाइक को कब्जे में ले लिया है। एएसपी नूरपुर धर्मचंद वर्मा ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि आरोपी के खिलाफ नूरपुर थाना में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस मामले की आगे जांच कर रही है।

Nurpur: As part of the ongoing campaign against the illegal drug trade, the CIA wing of the Nurpur police district conducted an operation in the Chhatroli area and arrested a young man with 16.02 grams of 'Chitta' (synthetic drug). The accused has been identified as Ajay Kumar, a resident of Hariyal in Tehsil and District Pathankot, Punjab. The police had received a tip-off that the youth was present at Chhatroli Khad with the contraband on his motorcycle and was preparing to sell it in the Chhatroli and Jasur areas. Acting on this information, the police team reached the spot and apprehended the youth along with his motorcycle. During the search, small transparent polythene packets hidden inside the motorcycle's dashboard were recovered. Upon examination, the packets were found to contain 16.02 grams of 'Chitta'. The police have arrested the accused and seized the motorcycle. Confirming the incident, Nurpur ASP Dharmchand Verma stated that a case has been registered against the accused at the Nurpur police station, and further investigation is underway.
