जिला सिरमौर की डिटेक्शन सेल पांवटा साहिब ने मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए एक व्यक्ति के कब्जे से 4,796 नशीले कैप्सूल बरामद किए हैं। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके खिलाफ पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब में एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आगामी जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार डिटेक्शन सेल की टीम गश्त के दौरान रैनबैक्सी चौक पर मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान गुप्त सूचना मिली कि हरियाणा के अंबाला जिले के गांव कालाआम्ब, डाकघर हमीदपुर, तहसील नारायणगढ़ निवासी रवि पुत्र शेर सिंह अपनी कार (HR04L-6828) में भारी मात्रा में नशीले कैप्सूल लेकर विकासनगर से पांवटा साहिब की ओर आ रहा है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए वाहन को रोककर तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से कुल 4,796 नशीले कैप्सूल बरामद किए गए। बरामदगी के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस मामले की गहनता से जांच कर रही है और यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि नशीले कैप्सूल कहां से लाए गए थे तथा इन्हें किसे सप्लाई किया जाना था।

The police have arrested the accused, registered a case against him under the NDPS Act at the Paonta Sahib police station, and initiated further investigation. According to the police, the Detection Cell team was on patrol near Ranbaxy Chowk when they received a tip-off. The information indicated that Ravi, son of Sher Singh—a resident of Kala-Amb village (Post Office Hamidpur, Tehsil Naraingarh, Ambala district, Haryana)—was traveling from Vikasnagar towards Paonta Sahib in his car (HR04L-6828) carrying a large quantity of intoxicating capsules. Acting swiftly on this information, the police team intercepted the vehicle and conducted a search. During the search, a total of 4,796 intoxicating capsules were recovered from the accused's possession. Following the seizure, the police arrested the accused and registered a case under the NDPS Act. A thorough investigation is underway to determine the source of the capsules and the intended recipients of the contraband.
