निशांत कुमार शर्मा से पुलिस सुरक्षा का 68.60 लाख रुपये खर्च वसूलने का नोटिस

शिमला पालमपुर निवासी निशांत कुमार शर्मा और उनके परिवार को दी गई पुलिस सुरक्षा पर हुए सरकारी खर्च की वसूली के लिए हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस ने नोटिस जारी किया है। पुलिस ने निशांत कुमार शर्मा को 68 लाख 60 हजार 502 रुपये जमा करवाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। यह राशि नोटिस प्राप्त होने की तारीख से 15 दिनों के भीतर जमा करनी होगी। पुलिस के अनुसार निशांत कुमार शर्मा और उनके परिवार को 16 नवंबर 2023 से सुरक्षा प्रदान की जा रही थी। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर समय-समय पर हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस की विभिन्न इकाइयों के कर्मचारियों की तैनाती की गई। 5 अगस्त 2026 को अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (गृह) की अध्यक्षता में हुई संयुक्त सुरक्षा समीक्षा समिति की बैठक में सुरक्षा पर हुए सरकारी खर्च की वसूली करने का निर्णय लिया गया। एसपी कांगड़ा की ओर से दिए गए खर्च विवरण के अनुसार सुरक्षा पर 37,96,589 रुपये, जबकि द्वितीय भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन सकोह, धर्मशाला की ओर से 30,63,913 रुपये खर्च किए गए। दोनों राशियों को मिलाकर कुल खर्च 68,60,502 रुपये है। पुलिस महानिदेशक कार्यालय की ओर से जारी नोटिस में निर्धारित समय के भीतर यह राशि सरकार के संबंधित लेखा शीर्ष में जमा करवाने को कहा गया है।

The Himachal Pradesh Police has issued a notice to recover the government expenditure incurred on providing police security to Nishant Kumar Sharma, a resident of Palampur, Shimla, and his family. The police have directed Nishant Kumar Sharma to deposit a sum of ₹68,60,502. This amount must be deposited within 15 days of receiving the notice. According to the police, security had been provided to Nishant Kumar Sharma and his family since November 16, 2023. Personnel from various units of the Himachal Pradesh Police were deployed at different times to maintain this security arrangement. The decision to recover the government expenditure incurred on security was taken during a meeting of the Joint Security Review Committee held on August 5, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary (Home). Based on the expenditure details provided by the SP, Kangra, ₹37,96,589 was spent on security, while the 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh (Dharamshala), incurred an expenditure of ₹30,63,913. The combined total expenditure amounts to ₹68,60,502. The notice issued by the Director General of Police's office directs that this amount be deposited into the relevant government accounting head within the stipulated timeframe.
