बुधवार सुबह हुई मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण डूहल बंगवाला के वार्ड नंबर तीन में लैंडस्लाइड होने से भारी नुकसान हुआ। बारिश के दौरान रास्ते का पूरा डंगा खिसककर परवीन कुमारी के मकान पर जा गिरा। मलबा मकान पर गिरने से घर को नुकसान पहुंचा, हालांकि परिवार के सदस्य बाल-बाल बच गए। लैंडस्लाइड के कारण रास्ते का बड़ा हिस्सा मिट्टी और मलबे की चपेट में आ गया, जिससे आवाजाही पूरी तरह बंद हो गई। अचानक हुए हादसे के बाद स्थानीय लोगों में दहशत का माहौल है। रास्ता बंद होने से ग्रामीणों को आने-जाने में काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही प्रधान मलकीयत सिंह ठाकुर मौके पर पहुंचे और प्रभावित परिवार से बातचीत कर नुकसान का जायजा लिया। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि हादसे के काफी समय बाद तक कोई प्रशासनिक अधिकारी मौके पर नहीं पहुंचा। स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रशासन से जल्द मौके का निरीक्षण कर नुकसान का आकलन करने और रास्ते को जल्द बहाल करवाने की मांग की है।

Heavy rains on Wednesday morning caused a landslide in Ward No. 3 of Duhal Bangwala, resulting in significant damage. During the downpour, the retaining wall of the road gave way and collapsed onto Parveen Kumari's house. While the house sustained damage from the falling debris, the family members had a narrow escape. A large section of the road was engulfed by soil and debris, completely halting traffic. The sudden incident has created an atmosphere of panic among the locals. Villagers are facing considerable difficulty commuting due to the blocked road. Upon learning of the incident, Pradhan Malkiyat Singh Thakur visited the site, spoke with the affected family, and assessed the damage. Villagers reported that no administrative official arrived at the scene for a long time after the incident. Locals have urged the administration to inspect the site, assess the damage, and restore the road as soon as possible.
