विजय सरकार का यू-टर्न: छात्रों को लेफ्ट और CJP प्रदर्शनों से रोकने वाला आदेश वापस

तमिलनाडु की विजय सरकार ने सरकारी कला एवं विज्ञान कॉलेजों के छात्रों और युवाओं को वामपंथी दलों और तमिलनाडु कॉकroach जनरल पार्टी (TNCJP) की ओर से आयोजित प्रदर्शनों में शामिल होने से रोकने संबंधी आदेश वापस ले लिया है। कॉलेजिएट एजुकेशन विभाग ने अधिकारियों को छात्रों और युवाओं को ऐसे प्रदर्शनों में शामिल होने से रोकने के लिए “उचित समन्वित कार्रवाई” करने का निर्देश दिया था। हालांकि, आदेश जारी होने के कुछ ही मिनट बाद इसे वापस ले लिया गया। विभाग के अब वापस लिए जा चुके आदेश में इस मामले को “बहुत जरूरी” बताया गया था। अधिकारियों से छात्रों को इन प्रदर्शनों में शामिल होने से रोकने के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाने को कहा गया था। विभाग ने 14 अगस्त को जारी एक सरकारी पत्र का हवाला दिया था, जिसमें स्कूल शिक्षा, उच्च शिक्षा और पुलिस विभाग के साथ-साथ जिला प्रशासन के बीच समन्वय स्थापित करने की बात कही गई थी। आदेश सामने आने के बाद इस पर सवाल उठने लगे। इसके तुरंत बाद कॉलेजिएट एजुकेशन विभाग ने अपना निर्देश वापस ले लिया। कॉलेजिएट एजुकेशन की संयुक्त निदेशक सिंथिया सेल्वी पी ने पुष्टि की कि विभाग की ओर से पहले जारी किया गया संचार वापस ले लिया गया है। आदेश वापस लिए जाने के बाद अब सरकार के इस फैसले को लेकर राजनीतिक चर्चा तेज हो गई है।

The Vijay government of Tamil Nadu has withdrawn an order that sought to prevent students from government arts and science colleges, as well as the youth, from participating in protests organized by Left-wing parties and the Tamil Nadu Cockroach General Party (TNCJP). The Department of Collegiate Education had instructed officials to take "appropriate coordinated action" to stop students and youth from joining such demonstrations. However, the order was withdrawn just minutes after it was issued. The department's now-withdrawn order had termed the matter "very urgent," directing officials to take immediate steps to prevent student participation in these protests. The department had cited a government letter issued on August 14, which called for coordination among the School Education, Higher Education, and Police departments, as well as the district administration. Questions were raised immediately after the order surfaced, prompting the Department of Collegiate Education to withdraw its directive. Cynthia Selvi P, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, confirmed that the communication previously issued by the department has been withdrawn. Following the withdrawal of the order, political discourse regarding the government's decision has intensified.
