जिला सिरमौर पुलिस की Detection Cell राजगढ़ टीम ने नशे के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए दो युवकों को चिट्टा (हेरोइन) के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के अनुसार आरोपियों के कब्जे से 1.28 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद हुआ है। पुलिस टीम गश्त के दौरान शमशान घाट राजगढ़ के समीप मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान रास्ते में दो युवक संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में बैठे मिले। पुलिस के अनुसार एक युवक के हाथ में इंसुलिन सिरिंज और दूसरे के पैरों के पास माचिस की डिब्बी पड़ी थी। सिरिंज के संबंध में पूछताछ करने पर दोनों युवक घबरा गए और संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दे पाए। पूछताछ में युवकों की पहचान विवेक चौहान निवासी धारनू, डाकघर जयहर, तहसील पच्छाद तथा शुभम कमल निवासी वार्ड नंबर-4, राजगढ़ के रूप में हुई। तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस ने उनके कब्जे से 1.28 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद किया। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना राजगढ़ में NDPS एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले में आगामी जांच जारी है।

The Detection Cell team of the Sirmour District Police (Rajgarh unit) has arrested two youths with 'Chitta' (heroin) during an operation against drug abuse. According to the police, 1.28 grams of the contraband were recovered from the accused. The police team was on patrol near the Rajgarh cremation ground when they spotted two youths sitting in a suspicious manner. Police observed that one youth was holding an insulin syringe, while a matchbox was lying near the feet of the other. When questioned about the syringe, both youths became nervous and failed to provide a satisfactory explanation. During interrogation, they were identified as Vivek Chauhan (resident of Dharnu, Post Office Jayhar, Tehsil Pachhad) and Shubham Kamal (resident of Ward No. 4, Rajgarh). A search led to the recovery of 1.28 grams of 'Chitta' from their possession. The police have registered a case against both accused at the Rajgarh Police Station under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway.
