राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई में विद्यार्थियों को सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से सड़क सुरक्षा क्लब का इंडक्शन एवं नामांकन कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य प्रो. गोपाल भारद्वाज के मार्गदर्शन तथा सड़क सुरक्षा क्लब की संयोजक प्रो. रीना देवी के निर्देशन में हुआ। कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को यातायात नियमों, सुरक्षित वाहन संचालन, हेलमेट एवं सीट बेल्ट के अनिवार्य प्रयोग, निर्धारित गति सीमा तथा सड़क पर जिम्मेदारीपूर्ण व्यवहार के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। विद्यार्थियों को सड़क सुरक्षा क्लब के उद्देश्यों और आगामी गतिविधियों से भी अवगत करवाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक क्लब में नामांकन करवाया तथा सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन करने और अन्य लोगों को भी जागरूक करने की शपथ ली। क्लब के सुचारु संचालन के लिए छात्र पदाधिकारियों का चयन भी किया गया। ज्योतिका को अध्यक्ष, तमन्ना को उपाध्यक्ष, काजल को सचिव, कौशल्या को संयुक्त सचिव तथा कृष को सोशल मीडिया प्रभारी नियुक्त किया गया। चयनित पदाधिकारियों को सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई।कार्यक्रम में प्रो. यशपाल, प्रो. राम लाल ठाकुर, डॉ. मनीषा सिंह सहित महाविद्यालय के अन्य प्राध्यापक उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता के साथ-साथ जिम्मेदारी की भावना विकसित करना रहा।

An induction and enrollment program for the Road Safety Club was organized at Government College, Shillai, with the aim of raising awareness among students about road safety rules. The event was held under the guidance of College Principal Prof. Gopal Bhardwaj and the supervision of the club's convener, Prof. Reena Devi. During the program, students were informed about traffic regulations, safe vehicle operation, the mandatory use of helmets and seat belts, prescribed speed limits, and responsible behavior on the road. They were also apprised of the club's objectives and upcoming activities. Students enthusiastically enrolled in the club and pledged to adhere to road safety rules and raise awareness among others. Student office-bearers were also selected for the smooth functioning of the club: Jyotika was appointed President, Tamanna Vice-President, Kajal Secretary, Kaushalya Joint Secretary, and Krish Social Media In-charge. The selected office-bearers were entrusted with the responsibility of playing an active role in road safety awareness programs. Faculty members, including Prof. Yashpal, Prof. Ram Lal Thakur, and Dr. Manisha Singh, were present at the event. The program aimed to foster a sense of responsibility alongside road safety awareness among the students.
