चूड़धार यात्रा के दौरान 5 सितंबर को मंडाहलाणी के समीप एक दर्दनाक हादसा पेश आया। यात्रा पर गई 27 वर्षीय युवती का अचानक पहाड़ी से पैर फिसल गया, जिसके चलते वह गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। हादसे में युवती की मौत हो गई। मृतका की पहचान प्रेशिता मेहता पुत्री शैलेंद्र मेहता के रूप में हुई है। प्रेशिता मेहता शिमला जिले के चायल डूबलू गांव की रहने वाली थीं।
बताया जा रहा है कि वह चूड़धार यात्रा पर गई थीं, इसी दौरान मंडाहलाणी के पास यह हादसा हुआ। हादसे की सूचना मिलने के बाद संबंधित टीमों द्वारा आवश्यक कार्रवाई की गई। घटना के बाद क्षेत्र में शोक का माहौल है। चूड़धार यात्रा मार्ग के दुर्गम एवं पहाड़ी क्षेत्र होने के चलते यात्रियों से यात्रा के दौरान विशेष सावधानी बरतने की अपील की जाती है।

A tragic accident occurred near Mandahlani on September 5 during the Churdhar trek. A 27-year-old woman on the trek suddenly slipped from the hillside and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in her death. The deceased has been identified as Preshita Mehta, daughter of Shailendra Mehta. She was a resident of Chail Dublu village in Shimla district. Reports indicate that the accident took place near Mandahlani while she was on the Churdhar trek. Relevant teams took the necessary action upon receiving news of the incident. A pall of gloom has descended on the area following the tragedy. Given the rugged and mountainous terrain of the Churdhar trekking route, travelers are urged to exercise extreme caution during their journey.
