हिमाचल के 3,315 सरकारी स्कूलों में सिर्फ एक शिक्षक

हिमाचल प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूलों में शिक्षकों की कमी का गंभीर मामला सामने आया है। विधानसभा में दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार प्रदेश के 3,315 सरकारी स्कूलों में केवल एक-एक शिक्षक तैनात है। इनमें 3,214 प्राथमिक और 101 माध्यमिक स्कूल शामिल हैं। शिक्षकों की कमी के चलते इन स्कूलों में विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई और शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था प्रभावित होने की चिंता बढ़ गई है। वहीं, शिक्षा विभाग में JBT और TGT के कुल 5,209 पद खाली पड़े हैं। बड़ी संख्या में पद रिक्त होने के कारण ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों के स्कूलों में शिक्षकों की उपलब्धता एक बड़ी चुनौती बनी हुई है। कई स्कूलों में सीमित शिक्षकों के सहारे विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ाया जा रहा है, जिससे शिक्षकों पर अतिरिक्त कार्यभार भी पड़ रहा है। विधानसभा में यह भी जानकारी सामने आई कि प्रदेश के कई स्कूलों में डेपुटेशन पर भेजे गए शिक्षकों के माध्यम से शिक्षण व्यवस्था चलाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इसके अलावा प्री-प्राइमरी कक्षाओं में भी स्वीकृत पदों के मुकाबले शिक्षकों की संख्या काफी कम है। इससे छोटे बच्चों की शुरुआती शिक्षा को लेकर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं। सरकारी स्कूलों में शिक्षकों की कमी के ये आंकड़े प्रदेश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए चिंता का विषय हैं। अभिभावकों और विद्यार्थियों की ओर से लंबे समय से खाली पदों को भरने की मांग उठती रही है। अब विधानसभा में सामने आए आंकड़ों के बाद शिक्षकों के रिक्त पदों को जल्द भरने और एकल शिक्षक वाले स्कूलों में पर्याप्त स्टाफ उपलब्ध कराने की जरूरत पर जोर बढ़ गया है।

A serious issue regarding the shortage of teachers in Himachal Pradesh's government schools has come to light. According to information provided in the Legislative Assembly, only one teacher is posted in each of the state's 3,315 government schools. This figure includes 3,214 primary schools and 101 middle schools. There is growing concern that the shortage of teachers is adversely affecting students' studies and the overall academic system in these schools. Meanwhile, a total of 5,209 posts for JBT and TGT teachers remain vacant within the Education Department. Due to the large number of vacancies, ensuring the availability of teachers in schools located in rural and remote areas remains a major challenge. In many schools, students are being taught by a limited number of teachers, placing an additional workload on the existing staff. Information revealed in the Assembly also indicates that efforts are being made to manage teaching operations in several schools by deploying teachers on deputation. Furthermore, the number of teachers in pre-primary classes is significantly lower than the sanctioned strength, raising concerns about the early education of young children. These statistics regarding the teacher shortage in government schools are a matter of concern for the state's education system. Parents and students have long been demanding that these vacant posts be filled. Following the disclosure of these figures in the Assembly, there is now increased emphasis on the need to urgently fill teacher vacancies and provide adequate staff to schools currently operating with only a single teacher.
