राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला पाहल में तीन दिवसीय अंडर-14 छात्रा जोनल खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ लोक निर्माण एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि किया। उन्होंने खेल ध्वज फहराकर प्रतियोगिता का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया। विभिन्न स्कूलों से पहुंची छात्रा खिलाड़ियों ने मार्च पास्ट में हिस्सा लिया। विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा कि खेल विद्यार्थियों के शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य के साथ-साथ उनमें अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास, नेतृत्व क्षमता, टीम भावना और संघर्ष करने की क्षमता विकसित करते हैं। उन्होंने छात्राओं को खेल भावना के साथ प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने और अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार शिक्षा के साथ खेलों के क्षेत्र में भी विद्यार्थियों को बेहतर अवसर और सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। मंत्री ने क्षेत्र में चल रहे विभिन्न विकास कार्यों की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि बमोट लिंक रोड का निर्माण करीब 1.50 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से जारी है, जबकि पाहल पंचायत के विकास कार्यों के लिए 25 लाख रुपये उपलब्ध करवाए गए हैं। कड़ियाची-टबोग विस्तारीकरण पर करीब 12 करोड़ और पाहल-गेहनी-देवीधार सड़क पर करीब 14 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने महिला मंडल भवन के निर्माण के लिए बजट संबंधी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश भी दिए।उन्होंने अक्टूबर माह में टूटू और सुन्नी क्षेत्र की महिलाओं के लिए महिला खेल महाकुंभ आयोजित करने की घोषणा की। साथ ही प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन के लिए विधायक निधि से 31 हजार रुपये तथा विद्यालय में करीब 4 लाख रुपये की लागत से शौचालय निर्माण की घोषणा की। स्कूल के किचन शेड के लिए भी आवश्यक वित्तीय सहायता उपलब्ध करवाने का आश्वासन दिया। प्रतियोगिता में 13 विद्यालयों की छात्रा खिलाड़ी हिस्सा ले रही हैं। कार्यक्रम में स्कूल प्रधानाचार्य नीना कुमारी, उपप्रधान

Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh inaugurated the three-day Under-14 girls' zonal sports competition at Government Senior Secondary School, Pahal, as the chief guest. He formally opened the event by hoisting the sports flag. Girl athletes from various schools participated in the march past. Vikramaditya Singh stated that sports not only improve students' physical health but also foster discipline, self-confidence, leadership skills, team spirit, and resilience. He encouraged the girls to participate with sportsmanship and showcase their talent. He added that the state government is committed to providing better opportunities and facilities for students in the field of sports alongside education. Providing details on ongoing development works in the area, the Minister mentioned that the construction of the Bamot link road is underway at a cost of approximately ₹1.50 crore, while ₹25 lakh has been allocated for development projects in the Pahal Panchayat. Approximately ₹12 crore is being spent on the Kadiachi-Tabog road expansion and about ₹14 crore on the Pahal-Gehni-Devidhar road. He also directed officials to submit a report regarding the budget for the construction of a Mahila Mandal (women's group) building. He announced that a 'Mahila Khel Mahakumbh' (women's sports mega-event) would be organized in October for women from the Tutu and Sunni areas. Additionally, he announced a contribution of ₹31,000 from the MLA fund for organizing the competition and sanctioned the construction of toilets at the school at a cost of approximately ₹4 lakh. He also assured that necessary financial assistance would be provided for the school's kitchen shed. Girl athletes from 13 schools are participating in the competition.
