मंडी में सुकेती खड्ड में गिरी कार, कैनरा बैंक मैनेजर की मौत

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मंडी जिले में बुधवार को दो अलग-अलग सड़क हादसों में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि करीब पांच लोग घायल हुए हैं। पहला हादसा करसोग क्षेत्र में हुआ, जबकि दूसरा मंडी शहर के पुलघ्राट के पास पेश आया। दोनों घटनाओं के कारणों की पुलिस जांच कर रही है। पुलघ्राट के पास एक कार अनियंत्रित होकर सुकेती खड्ड में जा गिरी। हादसे में कैनरा बैंक की मंडी शाखा के मैनेजर मनीष भाटिया की मौत हो गई। हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत कार्य शुरू किया। करीब 39 वर्षीय मनीष भाटिया बुधवार को बैंक के आधिकारिक काम से फील्ड में निकले थे। दोपहर करीब 2:30 बजे उन्होंने अपने साथ आए कर्मचारी को बैंक शाखा में छोड़ा और इसके बाद अकेले कार से गुटकर की ओर रवाना हुए थे। मनीष भाटिया करीब डेढ़ साल पहले पदोन्नति के बाद पंजाब की एक बैंक शाखा से मंडी स्थित कैनरा बैंक की होम सिटी शाखा में मैनेजर नियुक्त हुए थे। उनके परिवार में माता-पिता, पत्नी और 9 वर्षीय बेटा है। उनकी पत्नी मंडी स्थित पंजाब नेशनल बैंक में अधिकारी हैं, जबकि उनके बड़े भाई प्राथमिक स्कूल में मुख्याध्यापक हैं। हादसे की खबर के बाद परिवार और बैंक कर्मचारियों में शोक की लहर है।

Two people lost their lives and approximately five others were injured in two separate road accidents in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district on Wednesday. The first accident occurred in the Karsog area, while the second took place near Pulghrat in Mandi town. The police are investigating the causes of both incidents. Near Pulghrat, a car lost control and plunged into the Suketi Khad (ravine). Manish Bhatia, the manager of the Canara Bank (Mandi branch), died in the accident. Upon receiving news of the incident, locals rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations. Manish Bhatia, aged around 39, had stepped out for official bank work on Wednesday. Around 2:30 PM, he dropped off a colleague at the bank branch and then set off alone in his car towards Gutkar. About a year and a half ago, following a promotion, Bhatia had been appointed manager at the Canara Bank branch in Mandi, having previously served at a branch in Punjab. He is survived by his parents, wife, and a 9-year-old son. His wife is an officer at the Punjab National Bank in Mandi, while his elder brother is a primary school headmaster. A wave of grief has swept through his family and the bank staff following the news of the accident.
