चंडीगढ़ से MTech, नौकरी के साथ तैयारी, फौजी की बेटी अल्का पठानिया बनी लेफ्टिनेंट

हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा जिले के नूरपुर की बेटी अल्का पठानिया भारतीय सेना में लेफ्टिनेंट बन गई हैं। पासिंग आउट परेड पूरी करने के बाद जब अल्का अपने गांव पहुंचीं तो परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने उनका भव्य स्वागत किया। बेटी को सेना की वर्दी में देखकर उनके पिता बलवीर सिंह पठानिया भावुक हो गए। उनकी आंखों में बेटी की सफलता की खुशी और गर्व साफ दिखाई दिया। राजा का तालाब की पंचायत लाड़थ बाड़ी की रहने वाली अल्का ने पहली कक्षा से 12वीं तक की पढ़ाई स्थानीय स्तर पर पूरी की। इसके बाद उन्होंने चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी से बीटेक और पीटीयू जालंधर से एमटेक की पढ़ाई की। पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद नौकरी के साथ उन्होंने सेना में जाने के अपने लक्ष्य की तैयारी जारी रखी। लगातार मेहनत और लगन के बाद उन्होंने यह मुकाम हासिल किया। अल्का के पिता बलवीर सिंह पठानिया स्वयं सेना से सेवानिवृत्त हैं और वर्तमान में स्कूल प्रिंसिपल हैं। ऐसे में बचपन से ही अल्का को अनुशासन और देशसेवा की प्रेरणा परिवार से मिली। बेटी के लेफ्टिनेंट बनने पर परिवार के साथ-साथ पूरे क्षेत्र में खुशी का माहौल है। ग्रामीणों ने अल्का को बधाई देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल सैन्य भविष्य की कामना की।

Alka Pathania, a native of Nurpur in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, has become a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Upon returning to her village after completing the passing-out parade, she received a grand welcome from her family and fellow villagers. Her father, Balveer Singh Pathania, was overcome with emotion upon seeing his daughter in her Army uniform; the joy and pride regarding her achievement were clearly visible in his eyes. A resident of Ladath Badi Panchayat in Raja Ka Talab, Alka completed her schooling locally from Class 1 to 12. She subsequently pursued a B.Tech degree from Chandigarh University and an M.Tech from PTU Jalandhar. Even after completing her education and while holding a job, she continued preparing to achieve her goal of joining the Army. She attained this milestone through persistent hard work and dedication. Alka's father, Balveer Singh Pathania, is himself an Army veteran and currently serves as a school principal; consequently, Alka was inspired by her family to value discipline and service to the nation from a young age. Her appointment as a Lieutenant has brought joy not only to her family but to the entire region. Villagers congratulated Alka and wished her a bright future in the military.
