विश्व के सबसे बड़े अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्रकार संगठन वॉइस ऑफ मीडिया के हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं हरियाणा प्रकोष्ठ के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में 25 जुलाई (शनिवार) को हरियाणा के पंचकूला जिले के पिंजौर स्थित व्हाइट कैसल में वार्षिक पत्रकार सम्मान एवं स्नेह मिलन समारोह का भव्य आयोजन किया जाएगा। यहां काबिले जिक्र है यह समारोह दो राज्य के पत्रकारों का महाकुंभ होगा । इस लिए इसे दो राज्य की सीमा पर रखा गया है ताकि दोनों राज्य के पत्रकार शामिल हो सके । समारोह में कालका की विधायक शक्ति रानी शर्मा एवं राज्यसभा सांसद कार्तिकेय शर्मा मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत करेंगे, जबकि भाजपा की वरिष्ठ नेत्री एवं समाजसेवी मनवीर कौर गिल विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहेंगी। यह जानकारी वॉइस ऑफ मीडिया हिमाचल प्रदेश के प्रमुख अध्यक्ष विकास शर्मा ने गुरुवार को जारी एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में दी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य पत्रकारों का सम्मान करना, संगठनात्मक एकता को मजबूत बनाना, आपसी सहयोग की भावना को बढ़ावा देना तथा समाज के प्रति मीडिया की जिम्मेदारियों को और अधिक सशक्त करना है। समारोह में हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं हरियाणा के प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और डिजिटल मीडिया से जुड़े वरिष्ठ एवं युवा पत्रकार बड़ी संख्या में भाग लेंगे।
विकास शर्मा ने कहा कि वॉइस ऑफ मीडिया विश्व का सबसे बड़ा अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्रकार संगठन है, जो निष्पक्ष, निर्भीक और जिम्मेदार पत्रकारिता को प्रोत्साहित करने के साथ-साथ पत्रकारों के अधिकारों, सुरक्षा, सम्मान और सामाजिक सरोकारों के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रहा है। संगठन समय-समय पर पत्रकारों के प्रशिक्षण, संवाद, सामाजिक सेवा, सम्मान समारोह तथा जनहित से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में पत्रकारिता अनेक चुनौतियों के दौर से गुजर रही है। ऐसे समय में पत्रकारों के बीच संवाद, सहयोग और संगठनात्मक एकता पहले से अधिक आवश्यक हो गई है। इसी उद्देश्य को लेकर प्रतिवर्ष स्नेह मिलन एवं सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया जाता है, ताकि पत्रकार एक-दूसरे के अनुभवों से सीख सकें और समाज के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का और अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से निर्वहन कर सकें। समारोह के दौरान पत्रकारिता एवं सामाजिक क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान देने वाले पत्रकारों और समाजसेवियों को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा पत्रकारिता से जुड़े समसामयिक विषयों पर विचार-विमर्श भी होगा।विकास शर्मा ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र को सशक्त बनाने में मीडिया की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है और निष्पक्ष, तथ्यपरक एवं जिम्मेदार पत्रकारिता लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है। उन्होंने बताया कि कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रातः 11 बजे होगा। इसके उपरांत दोपहर 12 बजे मुख्य अतिथि शक्ति रानी शर्मा, राज्यसभा सांसद कार्तिकेय शर्मा तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि मनवीर कौर गिल दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर समारोह का विधिवत शुभारंभ करेंगे।इसके बाद अतिथियों के संबोधन, सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां, पत्रकार सम्मान समारोह तथा अंत में प्रीतिभोज का आयोजन किया जाएगा। वॉइस ऑफ मीडिया हिमाचल प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष विकास शर्मा ने हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं हरियाणा के सभी पत्रकारों से अधिक से अधिक संख्या में समारोह में भाग लेने का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि उनकी गरिमामयी उपस्थिति इस आयोजन को और अधिक सफल, प्रेरणादायी एवं यादगार बनाएगी।

A grand annual journalist awards and fellowship gathering (*Sneh Milan Samaroh*) will be held on July 25 (Saturday) at 'White Castle' in Pinjore, Panchkula district (Haryana), under the joint aegis of the Himachal Pradesh and Haryana chapters of 'Voice of Media'—the world's largest international journalists' organization. It is noteworthy that this event will serve as a massive congregation (*Mahakumbh*) for journalists from both states; the venue was chosen at the interstate border specifically to facilitate the participation of journalists from both regions. Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma and Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma will attend the event as chief guests, while senior BJP leader and social activist Manveer Kaur Gill will be present as the guest of honor. Vikas Sharma, the State President of 'Voice of Media' (Himachal Pradesh), shared this information in a press release issued on Thursday. He stated that the event aims to honor journalists, strengthen organizational unity, foster a spirit of mutual cooperation, and reinforce the media's responsibilities toward society. A large number of senior and young journalists from print, electronic, and digital media across Himachal Pradesh and Haryana will participate in the ceremony.
Vikas Sharma noted that 'Voice of Media' is the world's largest international journalists' organization, dedicated to promoting impartial, fearless, and responsible journalism while continuously working for journalists' rights, safety, dignity, and social causes. The organization regularly conducts programs related to journalist training, dialogue, social service, award ceremonies, and public interest initiatives. He remarked that journalism is currently navigating a phase filled with numerous challenges. In such times, dialogue, cooperation, and organizational unity among journalists have become more essential than ever. With this objective in mind, the fellowship and awards ceremony is organized annually, allowing journalists to learn from each other's experiences and discharge their societal responsibilities more effectively. During the event, journalists and social activists who have made significant contributions to the fields of journalism and social service will be honored. Additionally, there will be discussions on contemporary issues related to journalism. Vikas Sharma stated that the media plays a crucial role in strengthening democracy and that impartial, factual, and responsible journalism is the greatest strength of the democratic system. He informed that the program will commence at 11:00 AM. Subsequently, at 12:00 PM, the chief guest—Shakti Rani Sharma—along with Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma and special guest Manveer Kaur Gill, will formally inaugurate the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. This will be followed by addresses from the guests, cultural performances, a ceremony to honor journalists, and finally, a luncheon.
