जिला सिरमौर के शिलाई क्षेत्र में पुलिस ने जुए के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए छह व्यक्तियों को ताश के पत्तों के साथ जुआ खेलते हुए पकड़ा है। पुलिस ने मौके से 4,300 रुपये की नकदी और ताश के पत्ते बरामद किए हैं।

 पुलिस के अनुसार शिलाई थाना की टीम गश्त के दौरान बाली कोटी में मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि सुईनल में एक ढाबा/दुकान के कमरे में कुछ लोग ताश के पत्तों से जुआ खेल रहे हैं। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर दबिश दी और छह व्यक्तियों को जुआ खेलते हुए पकड़ लिया। पुलिस द्वारा पकड़े गए व्यक्तियों की पहचान कमलेश और नरेश निवासी पश्मी, विनोद कुमार और अजय निवासी टिम्बी, कर्ण निवासी बाली तथा प्रदीप कुमार निवासी नायल के रूप में हुई है। मौके की तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस को ताश के पत्तों के साथ कुल 4,300 रुपये नकद बरामद हुए। पुलिस ने सभी छह व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना शिलाई में जुआ अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले में आगामी जांच जारी है।

The arrested individuals have been identified as Kamlesh and Naresh (residents of Pashmi), Vinod Kumar and Ajay (residents of Timbi), Karan (resident of Bali), and Pradeep Kumar (resident of Nayal). During the search of the premises, the police recovered ₹4,300 in cash along with the playing cards. A case has been registered against all six individuals at the Shillai police station under the Gambling Act, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
