सिरमौर के होनहार विद्यार्थियों के लिए देश के प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थानों में से एक, जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय में मुफ्त और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा पाने का एक बेहतरीन अवसर सामने आया है। पीएम श्री स्कूल जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय, नाहन के प्रधानाचार्य ने आधिकारिक जानकारी साझा करते हुए बताया कि आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र 2027-28 में कक्षा छठी में प्रवेश के लिए आयोजित होने वाली जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय चयन परीक्षा (JNVST-2027) हेतु ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया विधिवत रूप से शुरू कर दी गई है। उन्होंने सभी इच्छुक पात्र अभ्यर्थियों और उनके अभिभावकों से आग्रह किया है कि वे निर्धारित समय-सीमा के भीतर अपना आवेदन पूरा कर लें। विभाग द्वारा ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 31 जुलाई 2026 तय की गई है। प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए पात्रता नियमों को स्पष्ट करते हुए प्रधानाचार्य ने बताया कि इस प्रक्रिया में केवल वही विद्यार्थी भाग लेने के पात्र माने जाएंगे जो वर्तमान शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 में जिला सिरमौर के किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त सरकारी अथवा गैर-सरकारी विद्यालय में कक्षा पांचवीं में नियमित रूप से पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही यह भी अनिवार्य शर्त रखी गई है कि अभ्यर्थी मूल रूप से जिला सिरमौर का ही निवासी होना चाहिए और उसकी कक्षा पांचवीं की पूरी पढ़ाई भी इसी जिले के भीतर स्थित किसी स्कूल से होनी चाहिए। आयु सीमा के तहत केवल उन अभ्यर्थियों के आवेदनों को स्वीकार किया जाएगा, जिनकी जन्म तिथि 01 मई 2015 से 31 जुलाई 2017 के बीच आती है।
चयन प्रक्रिया और परीक्षा के प्रारूप की जानकारी देते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि कक्षा छठी में प्रवेश के लिए इस लिखित चयन परीक्षा का आयोजन 28 नवंबर 2026 को किया जाएगा। यह मुख्य परीक्षा कुल दो घंटे की अवधि की होगी, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों की तार्किक और व्यावहारिक समझ को परखने के लिए कुल 80 वस्तुनिष्ठ (Objective type) प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे, जिनका कुल भारांक 100 अंक निर्धारित किया गया है। इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी या उनके अभिभावक नवोदय विद्यालय समिति की आधिकारिक वेबसाइटों navodaya.gov.in तथा cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/Index/Registration पर जाकर घर बैठे या किसी भी नजदीकी लोक मित्र केंद्र के माध्यम से पूरी तरह से निःशुल्क (Free of Cost) पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, यदि किसी अभिभावक को ऑनलाइन फॉर्म भरने में किसी भी प्रकार की तकनीकी दिक्कत या समस्या का सामना करना पड़ता है, तो उनकी सहायता के लिए जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय परिसर नाहन में एक समर्पित 'हेल्प डेस्क' सुविधा भी शुरू की गई है, जहाँ जाकर मार्गदर्शन लिया जा सकता है।
