दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर 'कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी' (CJP) द्वारा आयोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) पर तीखा हमला किया। इस प्रदर्शन में केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफे की मांग की जा रही थी। प्रदर्शन में शामिल AAP नेता सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा कि अगर धर्मेंद्र प्रधान को उनके पद से हटाया जाता है या वे इस्तीफा देते हैं, तो उनकी जगह किसी दूसरे BJP नेता को नियुक्त करने से समस्या का समाधान नहीं होगा। सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कहा कि शिक्षा मंत्रालय के लिए ऐसे व्यक्ति की ज़रूरत है जो शिक्षा प्रणाली के सामने मौजूद चुनौतियों को समझता हो। वैज्ञानिक और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक को शिक्षा मंत्री बनाने की वकालत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि इससे शिक्षा सुधारों को लेकर एक सकारात्मक संदेश जाएगा। मीडिया से बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, "जो भी नया शिक्षा मंत्री बनेगा, हो सकता है कि वह प्रभावी साबित न हो। हालांकि, लोगों को चिंता है कि धर्मेंद्र प्रधान की जगह नितिन गडकरी या स्मृति ईरानी जैसे किसी व्यक्ति को नियुक्त किया जा सकता है।" इस बीच, पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल सहित AAP के कई वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने प्रदर्शनकारियों के प्रति अपना समर्थन व्यक्त करने के लिए विरोध स्थल का दौरा किया। शिक्षा प्रणाली में जवाबदेही और व्यापक सुधारों की आवश्यकता पर जोर देते हुए, पार्टी नेताओं ने केंद्र सरकार से छात्रों और शिक्षकों की आवाज़ सुनने का आग्रह किया। वहीं दूसरी ओर, 'कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी' (CJP)—जो धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रही है—ने अपनी मांगों को मनवाने के लिए 20 जुलाई को संसद तक मार्च करने की योजना की घोषणा की है। प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना है कि सरकार को शिक्षा प्रणाली से जुड़े मुद्दों पर जवाब देना चाहिए और उनकी मांगों पर गंभीरता से विचार करना चाहिए।

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a protest organized by the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP) at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, where demands were being raised for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, who participated in the protest, stated that if Dharmendra Pradhan is removed from his post or resigns, simply appointing another BJP leader in his place would not solve the problem. Saurabh Bharadwaj remarked that the Ministry of Education requires someone who understands the challenges facing the education system. Advocating for the appointment of scientist and social activist Sonam Wangchuk as Education Minister, he said this would send a positive message regarding educational reforms. Speaking to the media, he said, "Whoever becomes the new Education Minister, it is possible they might not prove to be effective. However, people are concerned that someone like Nitin Gadkari or Smriti Irani might simply be appointed to replace Dharmendra Pradhan." Meanwhile, several senior AAP leaders, including party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, visited the protest site to express their support for the demonstrators. Emphasizing the need for accountability and comprehensive reforms in the education system, party leaders urged the central government to heed the voices of students and teachers. Separately, the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP)—which is demanding Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation—has announced plans to march to Parliament on July 20 to press for its demands. The protesters assert that the government must answer for issues concerning the education system and give serious consideration to their demands.
