जिला सिरमौर पुलिस की PO Cell टीम ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए करीब 14 साल से फरार चल रहे एक उद्घोषित अपराधी को उत्तराखंड के विकासनगर से गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी की पहचान विजय कुमार उर्फ विक्की, पुत्र शावणू राम, निवासी पुरुवाला, जिला सिरमौर के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस के अनुसार आरोपी पांवटा साहिब थाना में दर्ज अभियोग संख्या 352/2012 के तहत भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 457 और 380 में वांछित था। मामला दर्ज होने के बाद से आरोपी लंबे समय से पुलिस की गिरफ्त से बाहर चल रहा था। PO Cell टीम ने लगातार प्रयास करते हुए आरोपी को विकासनगर, उत्तराखंड से गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता हासिल की। गिरफ्तारी के बाद आरोपी के विरुद्ध थाना पांवटा साहिब में आगामी कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जा रही है। पुलिस के मुताबिक गिरफ्तार उद्घोषित अपराधी को नियमानुसार माननीय न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया जाएगा।

In a significant operation, the PO Cell team of the Sirmaur District Police arrested a proclaimed offender who had been absconding for nearly 14 years. The accused has been identified as Vijay Kumar, alias Vicky, son of Shavanu Ram, a resident of Puruwala, District Sirmaur. According to the police, the accused was wanted in connection with Case No. 352/2012 registered at the Paonta Sahib Police Station under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He had managed to evade police custody for a long time following the registration of the case. Through persistent efforts, the PO Cell team successfully apprehended the accused in Vikasnagar, Uttarakhand. Following the arrest, further legal proceedings are being initiated against him at the Paonta Sahib Police Station. The police stated that the arrested proclaimed offender would be produced before the honorable court in accordance with the law.
