जिला सिरमौर के राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस) इकाई एक और दो द्वारा महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य गोपाल भारद्वाज के मार्गदर्शन में एकदिवसीय शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर को विशेष रूप से स्वच्छता अभियान के लिए समर्पित किया गया। इस दौरान एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों ने एनएसएस कक्ष सहित महाविद्यालय के संपूर्ण परिसर की साफ-सफाई की। स्वयंसेवकों ने परिसर में इधर-उधर बिखरे पॉलिथीन और अन्य कचरे को एकत्र कर स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया। कार्यक्रम अधिकारी रंजना चौहान और यशपाल शर्मा के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस शिविर में राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के कुल 30 स्वयंसेवकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। स्वयंसेवकों ने स्वच्छ एवं सुंदर परिसर बनाए रखने के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक रहने का भी संकल्प लिया।महाविद्यालय प्राचार्य गोपाल भारद्वाज ने स्वयंसेवकों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि स्वच्छता केवल एक दिन का अभियान नहीं, बल्कि सभी की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से स्वच्छता को अपने दैनिक जीवन का हिस्सा बनाने का आह्वान किया।

Units I and II of the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Government College, Shillai (District Sirmaur), organized a one-day camp under the guidance of College Principal Gopal Bhardwaj. The camp was dedicated specifically to a cleanliness drive. During the event, NSS volunteers cleaned the entire college campus, including the NSS room. By collecting polythene and other waste scattered across the premises, the volunteers conveyed a message of cleanliness. A total of 30 NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically in the camp, which was conducted under the leadership of Programme Officers Ranjana Chauhan and Yashpal Sharma. The volunteers pledged to maintain a clean and beautiful campus and to remain conscious of environmental conservation. Appreciating the volunteers' efforts, Principal Gopal Bhardwaj remarked that cleanliness is not merely a one-day campaign but a collective responsibility. He urged the students to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives.
