ठुंडू विकास समिति के बैनर तले ठुंडू समुदाय का वार्षिक मिलन एवं मेल-मिलाप समारोह हामल परगना के मूल स्थान ठुंडणा गांव में उत्साहपूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। समारोह में हिमाचल प्रदेश के शिमला, सिरमौर तथा उत्तराखंड के लगभग 100 गांवों से 2000 से अधिक लोगों ने भाग लिया। स्थानीय लोगों ने बाहर से आए अतिथियों का ढोल-नगाड़ों, फूलमालाओं और पारंपरिक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ स्वागत किया। समारोह में सामाजिक एकता, भाईचारे और समुदाय के विकास पर व्यापक चर्चा हुई। शिक्षा, सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनीतिक क्षेत्रों में समुदाय की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ समाज की कुरीतियों को समाप्त करने का आह्वान किया गया। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाले सदस्यों को सम्मानित भी किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि पूर्व निदेशक हिमाचल प्रदेश कर्मचारी चयन आयोग एवं पूर्व रजिस्ट्रार हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय डॉ. (प्रो.) मोहन ठुंडू रहे, जबकि विशेष अतिथि नंबरदार बलबीर ठुंडू उपस्थित रहे। कुलदेवी माता के भंडारी, जेलदार, नंबरदार और समिति के पदाधिकारियों को मंच पर सम्मानित स्थान दिया गया। समारोह में ठुंटियों ने इष्टदेव बिजट महाराज के मूल स्थान सराहां में भंडारा एवं विशेष समारोह आयोजित करने का प्रस्ताव रखा, जिसे सर्वसम्मति से स्वीकार कर भविष्य में इसकी रूपरेखा तय करने का निर्णय लिया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ समिति अध्यक्ष धर्मेन्द्र ठुंडू के स्वागत भाषण तथा समापन महासचिव दिनेश ठुंडू के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ।
Thundu Community's Annual Gathering Concludes in Thundna Village; Over 2,000 People Participate

The annual reunion and social gathering of the Thundu community, held under the banner of the Thundu Vikas Samiti, concluded enthusiastically in Thundna village—the ancestral home of the Hamal Pargana. More than 2,000 people from approximately 100 villages across Shimla and Sirmaur (Himachal Pradesh) and Uttarakhand participated in the event. Local residents welcomed the visiting guests with traditional drums, floral garlands, and cultural performances. Extensive discussions took place regarding social unity, brotherhood, and the community's development. Calls were made to increase the community's participation in educational, social, economic, and political spheres, as well as to eradicate social evils. Members who had made outstanding contributions in various fields were also honored. Dr. (Prof.) Mohan Thundu, former Director of the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission and former Registrar of Himachal Pradesh University, served as the chief guest, while Nambardar Balbir Thundu attended as the special guest. The *Bhandari* (temple steward), *Jaildar*, and *Nambardar* of the clan deity Mata, along with committee office-bearers, were accorded a place of honor on the dais. During the event, a proposal was put forward to organize a *Bhandara* (community feast) and a special ceremony at Sarahan—the ancestral seat of the presiding deity, Bijat Maharaj; this proposal was unanimously accepted, and a decision was made to finalize the roadmap for the event in the future. The program commenced with a welcome address by Committee President Dharmendra Thundu and concluded with a vote of thanks by General Secretary Dinesh Thundu.
