देहरादून में सर्राफा कारोबारी को 34 लाख का चूना, जेवर बनाने के लिए दिया सोना लेकर कारीगर फरार
देहरादून: धामावाला बाजार के एक सर्राफा कारोबारी से लाखों रुपये कीमत का सोना लेकर कारीगर के फरार होने का मामला सामने आया है। कारोबारी ने आरोपी पर करीब 34 लाख रुपये से अधिक कीमत का सोना लेकर भागने का आरोप लगाया है। शिकायत मिलने के बाद कोतवाली पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। पीड़ित कारोबारी रमन माहेश्वरी ने पुलिस को बताया कि वह पिछले करीब दो वर्षों से आलोक पोरे नामक कारीगर से आभूषण बनवाने का काम करा रहे थे। दोनों के बीच लंबे समय से कामकाज होने के कारण कारोबारी को उस पर भरोसा था। इसी भरोसे के चलते वह समय-समय पर कारीगर को सोना देकर आभूषण तैयार करवाते थे। फरवरी में भी उन्होंने 34 लाख रुपये से अधिक कीमत का सोना आभूषण बनाने के लिए दिया था, जिसे 10 मार्च तक तैयार कर लौटाना था। आरोप है कि तय समय से पहले ही कारीगर 20 फरवरी को सोना और अन्य सामान लेकर फरार हो गया। इसके बाद उसका मोबाइल फोन भी बंद आने लगा। कारोबारी ने जब आसपास के लोगों और अन्य कारीगरों से जानकारी जुटाई तो कथित तौर पर पता चला कि आरोपी पर अन्य व्यापारियों का सोना और रुपये लेकर फरार होने के भी आरोप हैं। पुलिस अब आरोपी की तलाश के साथ मामले से जुड़े अन्य पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है।

Dehradun: A case has come to light where an artisan absconded with gold worth lakhs of rupees belonging to a jeweler in Dhamawala Market. The jeweler has accused the artisan of fleeing with gold valued at over ₹34 lakh. Following the complaint, the Kotwali police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. The aggrieved jeweler, Raman Maheshwari, informed the police that he had been engaging an artisan named Alok Pore to craft jewelry for about two years. Due to their long-standing professional relationship, the jeweler trusted him. Based on this trust, he would periodically hand over gold to the artisan for jewelry production. In February, he had provided gold worth more than ₹34 lakh for this purpose, with a deadline to return the finished jewelry by March 10. It is alleged that the artisan fled with the gold and other materials on February 20—well before the deadline—and subsequently, his mobile phone became unreachable. Upon making inquiries with locals and other artisans, the jeweler reportedly discovered that the accused faced similar allegations of absconding with gold and money belonging to other traders. The police are now searching for the accused and investigating other aspects of the case.
