चम्बा में दर्दनाक बस हादसा: बैरागढ़-चम्बा मार्ग पर 7 लोगों की मौत, 11 घायल

देवीकोठी के चलुंज मोड़ के पास सुबह करीब 7 बजे अनियंत्रित होकर खाई में गिरी निजी बस, चम्बा। हिमाचल प्रदेश के चम्बा जिले में शनिवार सुबह एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे ने पूरे क्षेत्र को झकझोर कर रख दिया। बैरागढ़-तीसा-चम्बा मार्ग पर देवीकोठी के समीप चलुंज मोड़ पर एक निजी बस अनियंत्रित होकर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई। हादसे के समय बस में चालक और परिचालक समेत कुल 18 लोग सवार थे। दुर्घटना में सात लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि 11 लोग घायल हुए हैं। हादसे के बाद मौके पर चीख-पुकार मच गई। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और प्रशासन के साथ एनडीआरएफ, होमगार्ड, अग्निशमन विभाग और राजस्व विभाग की टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं। संयुक्त टीमों ने तत्काल राहत एवं बचाव अभियान शुरू किया और घायलों को बस से निकालकर अस्पताल पहुंचाया। घायलों में छह की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है, जिन्हें बेहतर उपचार के लिए पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल चम्बा रेफर किया गया है। हादसे में जान गंवाने वालों की पहचान जगदेव, उनकी पत्नी हरदेई, देसराज, जगदेई, रूप सिंह, तेज सिंह और नीलमा के रूप में हुई है। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है। एसपी चम्बा विजय कुमार सकलानी ने बताया कि पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद मृतकों के शव परिजनों को सौंपे जाएंगे।

A private bus lost control and plunged into a gorge near the Chalunj curve at Devikothi around 7 AM. A tragic road accident on Saturday morning shook the entire region of Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh. The private bus met with an accident after losing control at the Chalunj curve near Devikothi on the Bairagarh-Tissa-Chamba route. A total of 18 people, including the driver and conductor, were on board at the time of the incident. Seven people lost their lives, while 11 sustained injuries. Chaos and cries for help erupted at the scene immediately following the crash. Upon receiving information about the incident, teams from the police and administration, along with the NDRF, Home Guards, Fire Department, and Revenue Department, rushed to the site. These joint teams launched an immediate rescue operation, extricating the injured from the bus and transporting them to the hospital. Six of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and have been referred to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital, Chamba, for advanced treatment. The deceased have been identified as Jagdev, his wife Hardei, Desraj, Jagdei, Roop Singh, Tej Singh, and Neelma. A wave of grief has swept through the area following the tragedy. Chamba SP Vijay Kumar Saklani stated that the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. The bodies of the deceased will be handed over to their families after the post-mortem examination.
