हिमाचल प्रदेश के चंबा जिले के भरमौर क्षेत्र में एक बड़ा सड़क हादसा होने से टल गया। बच्चों समेत नौ लोगों को लेकर जा रही मारुति वैन की अचानक ब्रेक फेल हो गई। स्थिति को भांपते हुए चालक ने सूझबूझ दिखाते हुए वैन को पहाड़ी से टकरा दिया, जिससे वाहन में सवार सभी लोगों की जान बच गई। हादसे में दो लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं, जबकि अन्य सवारों को भी चोटें आई हैं। जानकारी के अनुसार, वैन में सवार सभी लोग एक मुंडन समारोह से लौट रहे थे। भरमौर क्षेत्र में सफर के दौरान अचानक वाहन की ब्रेक फेल हो गई। इसके बाद वैन अनियंत्रित होने लगी। चालक ने घबराने के बजाय तत्काल फैसला लेते हुए वाहन को पहाड़ी की ओर मोड़ दिया और उसे चट्टान से टकरा दिया। इससे वैन की रफ्तार नियंत्रित हुई और बड़ा हादसा टल गया। हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। हादसे में दो सवारों को गंभीर चोटें आई हैं, जबकि अन्य यात्रियों को भी चोटें लगी हैं। चालक की सूझबूझ के कारण नौ लोगों की जान बच गई। घटना के बाद पुलिस ने हादसे के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A major road tragedy was averted in the Bharmour area of Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district. The brakes of a Maruti van carrying nine people, including children, suddenly failed. Sensing the danger, the driver displayed presence of mind and steered the van into the hillside, saving the lives of everyone on board. Two people sustained serious injuries in the accident, while the other occupants also suffered injuries. According to reports, the passengers were returning from a *Mundan* (tonsure) ceremony. While traveling through the Bharmour area, the vehicle's brakes failed unexpectedly, causing the van to lose control. Instead of panicking, the driver made a split-second decision to steer the vehicle toward the hillside and crash it against the rock face. This action brought the van's speed under control and prevented a major disaster. Chaos ensued at the scene following the crash. With the help of locals, the injured were rushed to the hospital. Two passengers sustained serious injuries, while others also suffered injuries. The lives of nine people were saved thanks to the driver's quick thinking. Police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
