गोंदपुर औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में स्थित मेडिफोर्स हेल्थकेयर प्राइवेट लिमिटेड यूनिट-II के खिलाफ वन भूमि पर कथित अतिक्रमण को लेकर शिकायत सामने आई है। शिकायतकर्ता ने पांवटा साहिब के वन मंडल अधिकारी (DFO) को आवेदन सौंपकर पूरे मामले की जांच करवाने और नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की मांग की है। शिकायत में आरोप लगाया गया है कि प्लॉट नंबर 46, इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया गोंदपुर स्थित उक्त इकाई द्वारा कथित तौर पर वन भूमि के हिस्से में लंबे समय से कब्जा किया गया है। शिकायत में करीब 15 वर्षों से अधिक समय से वन भूमि के इस्तेमाल तथा 500 KVA DG सेट और स्क्रैप यार्ड से संबंधित गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए हैं।शिकायतकर्ता के साथ मजदूर नेता प्रदीप चौहान भी मौजूद रहे। इस दौरान मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए प्रदीप चौहान ने कहा कि उन्हें वन विभाग पर पूरा विश्वास है और उम्मीद है कि विभाग शिकायत पर निष्पक्ष जांच करते हुए नियमानुसार कार्रवाई करेगा।
प्रदीप चौहान ने कहा कि “हमें विभाग पर पूरा विश्वास है कि इस मामले में जांच होगी और जो भी सच्चाई सामने आएगी, उसके आधार पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। लेकिन अगर विभाग की ओर से कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो हम इस मामले को लेकर उच्च अधिकारियों के कार्यालय जाएंगे और जरूरत पड़ी तो मुख्यमंत्री के दरबार तक भी जाएंगे।” उन्होंने कहा कि मामला वन भूमि से जुड़ा है, इसलिए इसकी निष्पक्ष जांच बेहद जरूरी है। मौके की निशानदेही करवाकर राजस्व और वन रिकॉर्ड की जांच की जानी चाहिए, ताकि वास्तविक स्थिति सामने आ सके। वहीं, शिकायतकर्ता की ओर से DFO कार्यालय में सौंपे गए आवेदन पर शिकायत प्राप्त होने की मुहर भी दिखाई दे रही है। अब सभी की निगाहें वन विभाग की आगामी कार्रवाई पर टिकी हैं। हालांकि, शिकायत में लगाए गए आरोपों की स्वतंत्र पुष्टि अभी नहीं हुई है। वन विभाग की जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो सकेगा कि संबंधित भूमि की वास्तविक स्थिति क्या है और वहां किसी प्रकार की अनुमति के तहत गतिविधियां संचालित की जा रही हैं या नहीं।

A complaint has been lodged regarding alleged encroachment on forest land by Mediforce Healthcare Private Limited (Unit-II), located in the Gondpur industrial area. The complainant has submitted an application to the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Paonta Sahib, demanding an investigation into the matter and appropriate action in accordance with the rules. The complaint alleges that the said unit, situated at Plot No. 46 in the Gondpur Industrial Area, has been occupying a portion of forest land for a long time. Serious allegations have been raised regarding the use of forest land for over 15 years, as well as issues concerning a 500 KVA DG set and a scrap yard. Labor leader Pradeep Chauhan accompanied the complainant. Speaking to the media, Chauhan expressed full faith in the Forest Department and stated his expectation that the department would conduct an impartial inquiry and take action as per regulations.
Pradeep Chauhan said, "We have full faith that the department will investigate this matter and take action based on the facts that emerge. However, if the department fails to take action, we will approach the offices of higher authorities and, if necessary, take the matter to the Chief Minister." He emphasized that since the issue involves forest land, an impartial investigation is crucial. He suggested that a site inspection and a verification of revenue and forest records should be conducted to reveal the actual situation. Meanwhile, the application submitted to the DFO office bears an official stamp acknowledging receipt of the complaint. All eyes are now on the Forest Department's next move. However, the allegations made in the complaint have not yet been independently verified. Only after the Forest Department's investigation will the true status of the land—and whether activities there are being conducted with the requisite permissions—become clear.
