क्षेत्रीय तिब्बती युवा कांग्रेस (आर.टी.वाई.सी ) पांवटा साहिब की ओर से शहीद लोबगा रंगज़ेन की आकांक्षाओं और बलिदान के सम्मान में 13 से 20 अगस्त तक शांतिपूर्ण साइकिल रैली आयोजित की जाएगी। आर.टी.वाई.सी अध्यक्ष नवांग पेलजोर ने बताया कि रैली पांवटा साहिब के चोलसुम तिब्बती बस्ती से शुरू होकर धर्मशाला में संपन्न होगी। रैली के माध्यम से चीन के तथाकथित “जातीय एकता एवं प्रगति कानून” का विरोध करते हुए तिब्बती पहचान, भाषा, संस्कृति और धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के संरक्षण की मांग उठाई जाएगी। रैली सुबह 7 बजे चोलसुम तिब्बती बस्ती से रवाना होगी। इसके बाद प्रतिभागी काला अंब, चंडीगढ़, कीरतपुर साहिब, ऊना, अंब, बरवाड़ा और कांगड़ा होते हुए धर्मशाला पहुंचेंगे। आयोजकों के अनुसार, लोबगा रंगज़ेन ने 2 जुलाई 2026 को न्यूयॉर्क स्थित संयुक्त राष्ट्र मुख्यालय के सामने आत्मदाह किया था। रैली के माध्यम से आयोजक तिब्बत की स्थिति और तिब्बती समुदाय से जुड़े मुद्दों की ओर अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय का ध्यान आकर्षित करना चाहते हैं। आर.टी.वाई.सी ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र से लोबगा रंगज़ेन के बलिदान तथा तिब्बत की मानवाधिकार स्थिति पर औपचारिक प्रतिक्रिया देने की मांग की है। साथ ही चीनी सरकार को उन नीतियों के लिए जवाबदेह ठहराने, जिनके कारण तिब्बतियों ने आत्मदाह जैसे कदम उठाए, तथा तथाकथित “जातीय एकता एवं प्रगति कानून” को रद्द करने की मांग की गई है। आयोजकों ने तिब्बतियों के समर्थन के लिए भारत सरकार और भारतीय जनता का आभार भी जताया। रैली में नवांग पेलजोर, नामग्याल, जाम्पा येशी, वांग्याल, कर्मा टाशी, यारफेल, नामग्याल टाशी, छेरिंग तेनज़िन, तेनज़िन छेरिंग और नवांग तेनपा के शामिल होने की जानकारी दी गई है।

A peaceful cycle rally is being organized by the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC), Paonta Sahib, from August 13 to 20 to honor the aspirations and sacrifice of the late Lobsang Rangzen. RTYC President Nawang Peljor stated that the rally will commence at the Cholsum Tibetan Settlement in Paonta Sahib and conclude in Dharamshala. Through this rally, demands will be raised for the preservation of Tibetan identity, language, culture, and religious freedom, while also opposing China's so-called "Ethnic Unity and Progress Law." The rally will depart from the Cholsum Tibetan Settlement at 7:00 AM. Participants will then travel via Kala Amb, Chandigarh, Kiratpur Sahib, Una, Amb, Barwara, and Kangra to reach Dharamshala. According to the organizers, Lobsang Rangzen had self-immolated in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York on July 2, 2026. Through this rally, the organizers aim to draw the international community's attention to the situation in Tibet and issues concerning the Tibetan community. The RTYC has demanded a formal response from the United Nations regarding Lobsang Rangzen's sacrifice and the human rights situation in Tibet. Furthermore, demands have been made to hold the Chinese government accountable for the policies that drove Tibetans to resort to acts like self-immolation and to repeal the so-called "Ethnic Unity and Progress Law." The organizers also expressed their gratitude to the Government of India and the Indian people for their support of the Tibetan cause. Nawang Peljor, Namgyal, Jampa Yeshi, Wangyal, Karma Tashi, Yarphel, Namgyal Tashi, Tsering Tenzin, Tenzin Tsering, and Nawang Tenpa are reported to be participating in the rally.
