पंडोह के पास ब्यास नदी में गिरी सब्जियों से लदी जीप, चालक लापता

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मंडी जिले में पंडोह के पास 6 मील में एक सब्जियों से लदी जीप अनियंत्रित होकर ब्यास नदी में जा गिरी। जीप में लाहौल से पंजाब ले जाई जा रही गोभी लदी थी। हादसा शुक्रवार रात करीब 10 से 11 बजे के बीच हुआ। जीप के पंजाब नहीं पहुंचने पर आढ़ती ने चालक के परिजनों को सूचना दी, जिसके बाद परिवार और पुलिस ने उसकी तलाश शुरू की। घटनास्थल पर सड़क किनारे सब्जियां बिखरी मिलीं और जीप का एक हिस्सा नदी में समाया हुआ पाया गया। लापता चालक की पहचान मंडी जिले के कांढ़ी गांव निवासी रमेश चंद के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ की टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर नदी और आसपास के क्षेत्र में सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू किया। चालक का मोबाइल फोन और लाइसेंस बरामद कर लिया गया है, लेकिन अभी तक उसका कोई सुराग नहीं मिला है। ब्यास नदी में तेज बहाव होने के कारण तलाश अभियान में मुश्किलें आ रही हैं। पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार चालक की तलाश जारी है

A jeep loaded with vegetables lost control and plunged into the Beas River near '6 Mile' (near Pandoh) in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district. The vehicle was transporting cauliflower from Lahaul to Punjab. The accident occurred between 10 PM and 11 PM on Friday. When the jeep failed to reach Punjab, the commission agent informed the driver's family, prompting the family and the police to launch a search. Vegetables were found scattered along the roadside at the scene, and a portion of the jeep was spotted submerged in the river. The missing driver has been identified as Ramesh Chand, a resident of Kandhi village in Mandi district. Police and SDRF teams arrived at the site and initiated a search operation in the river and surrounding areas. While the driver's mobile phone and license have been recovered, there is no trace of him yet. The search operation is facing difficulties due to the strong currents of the Beas River. According to police officials, the search for the driver is ongoing.
