कुल्लू शहर को साफ-सुथरा रखने के लिए जिला प्रशासन प्रयासरत, एमआरएफ साइट का किया निरीक्षण

कुल्लू शहर में कूड़े की समस्या के समाधान को लेकर जिला प्रशासन और नगर परिषद ने कदम उठाए हैं। शहर के बीच स्थित डंपिंग साइट पर लंबे समय से जमा कचरे को नगर परिषद की टीम ने साफ कर दिया है। इसी व्यवस्था का जायजा लेने के लिए सहायक आयुक्त जयवंती ठाकुर ने एमआरएफ साइट का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने मौके पर सफाई व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया और अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। सहायक आयुक्त जयवंती ठाकुर ने कहा कि डंपिंग साइट को लेकर स्थानीय लोगों की समस्याओं का समाधान किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि भविष्य में इस स्थान पर दोबारा कूड़ा जमा न हो, इसके लिए भी लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने नगर परिषद की टीम द्वारा की गई सफाई की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि शहर को स्वच्छ और व्यवस्थित बनाए रखने के लिए प्रशासन गंभीरता से काम कर रहा है। उन्होंने कुल्लू शहर के लोगों से अपील की कि वे अपने घरों से निकलने वाले गीले और सूखे कचरे को अलग-अलग रखें। इससे कचरे के निस्तारण में आसानी होगी और एमआरएफ साइट पर पहुंचने वाले कचरे का वैज्ञानिक तरीके से डिस्पोजल किया जा सकेगा। प्रशासन ने लोगों से स्वच्छता व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में सहयोग करने की अपील की है, ताकि शहर को साफ-सुथरा और बेहतर बनाया जा सके।

The district administration and the Municipal Council have taken steps to address the garbage issue in Kullu city. A Municipal Council team has cleared the waste that had accumulated over a long period at the dumping site located within the city. Assistant Commissioner Jayvanti Thakur inspected the MRF (Material Recovery Facility) site to review the situation. During the visit, she assessed the cleanliness arrangements on-site and issued necessary directives to the officials. Assistant Commissioner Jayvanti Thakur stated that the concerns of local residents regarding the dumping site have been addressed. She mentioned that continuous efforts are being made to ensure that garbage does not accumulate at this location in the future. Appreciating the cleanup work carried out by the Municipal Council team, she remarked that the administration is working earnestly to keep the city clean and well-organized. She appealed to the residents of Kullu to segregate wet and dry waste generated in their households. This practice will facilitate easier waste management and enable the scientific disposal of waste reaching the MRF site. The administration has urged the public to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness so that the city can be kept clean and improved.
